Located in Xiannv Town, Wulong County, Chongqing, the Wulong Tiankeng boasts the world's largest natural bridge complex and the second-largest tiankeng cluster. Wulong Tiankeng is a karst landform, characterized by rock outcrops, towering peaks, breathtaking caves, and natural bridges. Known as the Earth's funnel, the tiankeng and fissures are a unique natural landscape formed through eons of terrestrial evolution.
You can descend into the 100-meter-deep tiankeng and gaze up at the surrounding cliffs, which are like clouds. You can also descend to the valley floor, where you can follow the rock walls and the underground river, and experience the wonders of nature. This place was also the filming location for the movies "Curse of the Golden Flower" and "Transformers 4."
Wulong has a subtropical humid monsoon climate with a year-round humid climate, four distinct seasons, and a high average annual temperature. The best time to visit is in autumn from September to November.
Wulong Natural Bridge is a rare geological wonder and ecological tourist area in the country. It is mainly divided into two scenic areas: the Natural Three Bridges and the Longshui Gorge Fissure, and tickets are sold separately.
The Three Natural Bridges are famous for their three majestic stone arch bridges, namely Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge and Heilong Bridge, and are the largest natural bridge group in Asia.
