Jimunai County is located in northern Xinjiang, on the northern edge of the Junggar Basin, the northern foot of the Sawur Mountains, and the southern bank of the Irtysh River. Historically, it was a nomadic area for many ancient ethnic groups in northern China.
The Mysterious Grand Canyon Scenic Area, located in Karjiao Township, Jimunai County, 60 kilometers from the county seat, features a unique Yadan landform. Its topography is a unique landscape found in China's inland deserts, a combination of intermittent, long mounds interspersed with depressions and trenches, formed by wind erosion from underground rift valleys.
The Grassland Stone City Scenic Area boasts rolling hills and numerous unusual rocks, each with its own intricate shape, lifelike form, and remarkable visual appeal. From June to July each year, the area is ablaze with vibrant blossoms, each a breathtaking display of natural beauty, creating a truly unique natural rock museum.

Yoshimono is an ancient town in Xinjiang, known for its significance in Uyghur culture. The area is rich in history, being part of the Silk Road trade route. It has been a melting pot of cultures for centuries, and today it continues to showcase traditional Uyghur architecture, music, and crafts.
