Tianhuangping Town is located at the southern tip of Anji County. Its scenic area features three main attractions: the power station, the bamboo sea, and the sacred peaks. The scenic area combines cultural influences with the unique charm of nature. The Daxi Gorge in the power station area stretches 9 kilometers deep, with towering mountains on either side and a cascading stream at the bottom, converging into the lower reservoir. It rivals the Tianchi Lake in Xinjiang.
The winding mountain road leading to the Tianchi Scenic Area is 18 kilometers long. Famous for its beautiful mountain scenery and dangerous turns, it is affectionately called China's Akina Mountain by friends who like racing sports.
Tianhuangping also houses the Great Bamboo Sea, the filming location for the bamboo scenery featured in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon." The vast bamboo sea is punctuated by waterfalls. Climbing to the summit of Getian Peak, visitors can gaze upon the majestic sky, admire the beauty of Tianchi Lake, and bask in the refreshing freshness of nature.
The top of Tianhuangping Mountain is a suitable place for stargazing. There is a night light protection area here, which has attracted many astronomy enthusiasts to camp and stargaze. With the valley as their pillow, the sound of bamboo rustling, and the stars as their blanket, they can completely integrate into nature.
Tianhuangping has pleasant scenery in all four seasons. In spring, the mountain flowers are in full bloom and the clouds are lingering; in summer, the cool breeze is in your arms and the moon is like jade; in autumn, the leaves are mottled and the sea of clouds is misty; in winter, the mountain is covered with snow and ice crystals.
