Baishan Power Plant Industrial Tourism Scenic Area
The scenic area, under the jurisdiction of the Baishan Power Plant, has experienced over 20 years of development and growth, accumulating extensive experience in the tourism service industry and enjoying a long-standing reputation within the national power system. It was designated a Patriotic Education Base in 2000 and certified as a China Industrial Tourism Demonstration Site in 2010. The Baishan Power Plant Water Conservancy Project is the largest hydropower plant in the Northeast China Power Grid by installed capacity and was once the largest underground hydropower plant in Asia.
