
Fuyu City, a county-level city under the administration of Songyuan City, Jilin Province, lies on the northeastern edge of the Songnen Plain, in northwestern Jilin Province and east of Songyuan City. Fuyu is a key road and railroad hub connecting Heilongjiang and Liaoning Provinces, with Fuyu Station and Fuyu North Station serving as the city's main stations.
On January 24, 2013, with the approval of the State Council, Fuyu County was abolished and Fuyu City (county-level) was re-established, with the original administrative area remaining unchanged. The newly established county-level Fuyu City is directly under the jurisdiction of Jilin Province and administered by Songyuan City.

Fuyu County Martyrs Cemetery
   On the right side of the Revolutionary Martyrs Monument stands a majestic bronze statue of the martyr Liang Shiying, who is fully armed with a submachine gun in his hand and stands tall and straight. The statue is inlaid with black marble, and the top of the monument is engraved with eight gold-painted characters written by Liu Zhen: "Great Warrior, Glorious Model"; the back of the monument is engraved with a brief biography of Liang Shiying.
Shitouchengzi Ancient City Site
Located in Sanchahe Town, Fuyu County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province, it is 100 kilometers from downtown Songyuan and 1 kilometer from Fuyu County. It is the site of an ancient city dating from the Liao to Jin dynasties. The site is rectangular, 500 meters long from east to west and 400 meters wide from north to south. The city walls are 5 to 6 meters high and surrounded by a moat. The ancient city walls are still faintly visible, and the remains are well-preserved. In May 2013, it was approved by the State Council as one of the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection sites.
