
Liuhe County is located in Changbaishan District in southeastern Jilin Province and is under the jurisdiction of Tonghua City, Jilin Province. The Liuhe County People's Government is located in Liuhe Town.
Liuhe is a national commercial grain base county, a key Chinese patent medicine production county, a seedling trading market, a standardization demonstration area for flue-cured tobacco planting, a famous green county in China, the hometown of Chinese mountain wine, the hometown of volcanic rice, the hometown of calligraphy, the hometown of folk culture and art, as well as a provincial health city and a key ecological demonstration county.
The climate is a north temperate continental monsoon climate with strong and dry winds in spring, warm and rainy summer, cool autumn and long winter. Due to the large number of mountains, the temperature distribution decreases with increasing altitude and latitude, with obvious vertical characteristics.
Sanxianjia National Forest Park
   The characteristics of Jilin Sanxianjia National Forest Park are the combination of nature and man-made, the combination of southern and northern viewing attractions, and the construction of miniature landscapes centered around the three treasures of the Northeast and customs and folkways.

Luotong Mountain Scenic Area
The mountain's main peak reaches 1,090 meters above sea level and is a renowned cultural relic site and scenic tourist destination. It was named "Luotong Mountain" because Luo Tong, son of the great Tang Dynasty general Luo Cheng, once camped here during his campaign against the north.
Luotong Mountain City, nestled within the scenic area, boasts a circumference of 7.5 kilometers. Its walls are constructed of a mixture of earth and stone, with five gates located in both the east and west sections. Corner towers and platforms stand at the northeast and northwest corners of the west section. Within the city, the terrain is flat and open, housing notable sites such as a parade ground, a command platform, barracks, a beacon tower, a reservoir, the Sanqing Temple, and the Shenqing Main Gate.
