Yitong Manchu Autonomous County, derived from the name of the Yitong River, meaning "grand, turbulent river," is a county affiliated with Siping City, Jilin Province. It is located in central Jilin Province, on the upper reaches of the Yitong River, south of the provincial capital, Changchun. It borders Shuangyang District of Changchun to the east, Panshi City to the southeast, Dongfeng and Dongliao Counties to the south, Lishu County to the southwest, Gongzhuling City to the southwest and northwest, and the suburbs of Changchun to the north.
