
Huachuan County is located in northeastern Heilongjiang Province, in the heart of the Sanjiang Plain, and on the southern bank of the lower reaches of the Songhua River. Huachuan County has a long history and has produced many heroes.
Archaeological data from the Walihotun site and other sites confirm that Huachuan's geological origins lie in the Archean strata, indicating that ancient humans lived and thrived here as early as the Neolithic Period. The county was established in the first year of the Xuantong reign of the late Qing Dynasty. Huachuan boasts two well-preserved Jin Dynasty ruins: the Walihotun and Xierha ancient cities.
Xinghuo Township, home to China's first collective farm, is the city's largest Korean autonomous township and renowned for its ethnic cuisine. Lengyun Village and Jingfu Village in Yuelai Town are the birthplaces of Leng Yun and Jingfu, two martyrs of the Anti-Japanese United Army, and boast a rich revolutionary history. The provincial wetland reserve, covering 26,000 hectares, is well-preserved. The Chegulupao tourist area boasts a beautiful natural environment.

Korean Ethnic Culture Park in Xinghuo Township
Zhongxing Village, located in the seat of the Xinghuo Township Government in Huachuan County, is the first collective farm in the Republic. It has a superior geographical location, smooth information access and unique customs. The Korean Ethnic Culture Park in Xinghuo Township has a strong Korean ethnic style, simple folk customs and rich customs. It integrates tourism, vacation, leisure and services.
Korean houses have distinctive architectural styles and unique interior layouts. Their living customs are directly related to the cold northern climate and rice production methods. Their cuisine, including cold noodles, rice cakes, kimchi, and chili peppers, boasts a unique and distinctive flavor.
Huachuan Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery
The park is lined with evergreen pines and cypresses, resting the steadfast remains of many revolutionary martyrs. Upon entering the Martyrs' Cemetery, a monument to revolutionary martyrs stands out in the center. The seven characters "Monument to Revolutionary Martyrs" are powerfully inscribed. The monument, surrounded by carved railings and jade pillars and steps, exudes a sense of solemnity. Flowers and wild grasses, interspersed with red and green, adorn the monument and the martyrs' tombs, adding a touch of natural beauty to the cemetery. The lush, upright poplar trees surrounding the cemetery are a spectacle, attracting hundreds of birds flocking to it.
Ancient City of Walihotun
Located in Wanlihe Village, Yuexing Township, Huachuan County, it sits on a hillock on the south bank of the Songhua River. Its irregularly shaped city wall, built along the hillock, has a circumference of over 3,000 meters and a remaining height of 6 meters. It has three gates, located in the east, south, and west. The urn walls at the east and west gates are well-preserved. Within the city walls, there are remains of a 40-meter-circumference, 2-meter-high circular earthen platform. Unearthed within the city are fragments of wheel-made gray pottery, Song Dynasty "Chongning Tongbao" coins, Jin Dynasty "Dading Tongbao" coins, imitation Dingjiao porcelain fragments, and cloth-patterned tiles, indicating that the city dates back to the Liao and Jin dynasties.
Lengyun Park
The mountains and rivers of Huachuan bear the footprints of the Anti-Japanese United Army and are stained with the blood of heroes. Martyrs such as Leng Yun, the political instructor of the Women's Corps in the "Eight Women Who Jumped into the River", and Zhao Jingfu, the political commissar of the Third Detachment of the Anti-Japanese United Army, are buried in the Martyrs' Cemetery in Huachuan.
