
Ngarin Co is a slightly brackish inland lake in Zhongba County. Located at the northern foot of the Gangdise Mountains, it is a tectonic depression. The lake is fed by snowmelt and fed by the Amao Zangbo, Gyabrizang Zangbo, and Jun Zangbo rivers. Its surface is 4,689 meters above sea level.
Zhongba County belongs to the plateau subarctic semi-arid climate zone. The climate is dry, cold, with strong winds and sandstorms, abundant sunshine, and large annual temperature differences.
