Approved by the Shandong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, the Taierzhuang Battle History Exhibition Hall is a patriotic, revolutionary tradition, and national defense education center, integrating viewing, education, and sightseeing. It is located on the north bank of the ancient Grand Canal, in the heart of Taierzhuang.
The park consists of five sections: Heroes Square, the War History Exhibition Hall, the National Defense Education Garden, the National Defense Garden, and the Film and Television Hall. In the center of the 3,000-square-meter Heroes Square stands the majestic 31.8-meter-tall Revolutionary Martyrs Monument, showcasing the glorious achievements and immortal contributions of the people and heroes. The front of the monument is inscribed with the eight large red characters in Mao Zedong's calligraphy: "The revolutionary martyrs will live forever." The back bears an inscription written by General Zhang Zhen, former Vice Chairman of the Central Committee.
In addition, the museum uses rich and detailed historical materials, modern optoelectronic technology and miniature landscapes to vividly reproduce the ancient and modern war scenes on this heroic land, focusing on the great victory of the people's war led by the Communist Party of China.
