Gaxian Cave is a natural cave located in Gaxian Cave Forest Park, 10 kilometers northwest of Alihe Town, Oroqen Autonomous Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is located on a granite cliff halfway up the Gashan Mountain, on the eastern end of the northern peak of the Greater Khingan Range and on the north bank of the Gan River, a tributary of the Nenjiang River. The area is characterized by overlapping peaks and towering trees, with pines and birch trees shading the sun.

It is the birthplace of the ancient Xianbei people. There are rich cultural layers accumulated in the cave, which has important scientific value for studying the early history of Tuoba Xianbei. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit.
