The entrance fee is typically ¥40-¥80. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance. Online ticket options may be available, particularly during peak seasons.
Booking tickets in advance is not necessary for off-peak times but is recommended during busy seasons (especially weekends and holidays) to avoid long queues.
You will need around 2 to 3 hours to fully explore Sancha Lake, especially if you plan to take a boat ride and walk along the trails.
Guided tours are available in Chinese, and during peak seasons, English-speaking guides may also be available. Audio guides are not typically offered.
The best viewpoints are along the boat ride and at the higher vantage points of the walking trails. The lakeside area is perfect for photography, especially during sunrise and sunset.
