Introducing Baima Spring

Baima Spring, located in the dense Shixiazi forest of Shangli Township, Ya'an City, features a pool at the spring's source, revered as a sacred spring . Stone relief carvings of dragons and horses and the inscription " Dragon Cave " are carved into the rocks at the bottom of the pool . Surrounding the area are cultural relics such as the Holy Water Well, the Pearl-Spraying Spring, the Goose Neck Peak, and the Stupa. It is a provincially protected cultural relic site.

When the tide recedes, the water in the pond is as calm as a mirror; when the tide comes in, ripples appear on the calm water surface, and in an instant, spring water gushes out from the stone dragon's mouth and gills, and the cave sounds like pearls and jade being thrown and splashed, with a whistling sound.

As the spring water leaps down section by section and the dragon carved on the boulder reveals its waist, the sound of " tic-tat-tic-tat " of horses' hooves gradually comes from the pool, from far to near, from slow to fast, crisp and broad. The ancients once described it as: " The White Horse Dragon Spring is the Holy Well " , " The White Horse of Lingquan neighs on the fragrant grass " .
