The Bashan Grand Canyon is located northeast of Xuanhan County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, 80 kilometers from the county seat. Connected to the Xinhua Exit of the Dashan Expressway via an expressway, it offers convenient transportation. The scenic area comprises four main sections: the Taoxi Valley Leisure Experience Area, the Luopanding Health and Wellness Area, the Baren Valley Folk Customs Leisure Area, and the Xikou Lake Ecological Sightseeing Area.
The scenic area's elevation ranges from 452 meters at its lowest point to 2,480 meters at Luopanding, a dramatic 2,000-meter elevation difference. Within the mountain, you'll experience four seasons, and the weather changes dramatically over every ten miles. A dazzling array of grotesque peaks and rocks, folds and faults, cascading waterfalls, and shrouded canyons are a sight to behold. Millions of years of flowing water have shaped the natural beauty of the karst landscape. I freely roam the Bashan Mountains and Shu Rivers, feeling the vast expanse of the sky and the gorges.
In winter, you can enjoy snow skiing and in summer, you can go rafting.
