Lebu Valley is a famous scenic spot on the south side of Bola Mountain in Cona County, Shannan City, Tibet. It is a southward-extending canyon in the eastern section of the Himalayas (the middle section of Niangjiangqu Canyon).
The elevation drop from the mountain pass to the valley floor is over 2,000 meters, and the 20-kilometer road is very steep. The oxygen levels in the landscape and vegetation are completely different. There are few villagers at the bottom of the valley, and a military garrison is stationed on the right. It's very close to the border.
The unique geographical environment has created a unique pristine ecological beauty: snow-capped mountains, meadows, sea of flowers, primeval forests, waterfalls, streams, rare birds... Traveling along the road in the mysterious primeval forests where ancient trees and bamboo forests alternate, you can see steep cliffs, playful monkeys and flying birds everywhere.
Legend has it that Guru Padmasambhava practiced asceticism here. There's a waterfall near Guru Padmasambhava's asceticism. Throughout the dense forest leading to the waterfall, you'll find numerous pilgrimage sites.
The climate here is pleasant, the species are rich, the mountains and rivers are beautiful, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant. It is evergreen all year round. From May to June, Lebu Valley is a sea of rhododendrons, and beautiful jasmine, roses and various wild flowers that cannot be named are in full bloom. It is a unique place in the Western Plateau.
