
The Mausoleum of Leizu is the "First Mausoleum of the Ancestor of Chinese Women". It is located on Qinglong Mountain in Jinji Town, Yanting County, Sichuan Province. It faces south, with the mountain as the mausoleum and the tomb as the heart. It has a blue sky above and a sea of clouds in front, which is magnificent.
Leizu was the first wife of Emperor Huangdi and the great mother of the Chinese nation. She "invented the culture of mulberry planting and silkworm breeding, the techniques of silk reeling and weaving, established the laws of agriculture and sericulture, made clothes, promoted marriage, established etiquette, built palaces, and laid the foundation of the nation." She was revered as the "First Silkworm" by emperors of all dynasties and worshipped as the "Silkworm God" and "Traveling God" by the people.

Dam relief
The lifelike relief carvings on the dam, covering an area of more than 800 square meters, tell the story of Leizu's glorious life, from being gifted as a phoenix girl by heaven, tasting herbs to help the people, discovering celestial insects, raising wild silkworms, reeling silk and making clothes, marrying Leizu and Xuanzu, passing on skills to the people, touring the country, and assisting Emperor Huang.
Waterfront wooden boardwalk
From the Leizu Lake Dam relief upwards, there is a newly built hydrophilic wooden plank road. The plank road is 450 meters long and 6.5 meters wide. It is made entirely of wood and is solemn and simple, in harmony with the environment. There are five viewing platforms of different sizes scattered along the plank road, allowing you to take in the beauty of the Leizu Mausoleum.
Peace Island
Stepping out of the wooden plank road is the starting point of the core scenic spot of the pilgrimage route - Heping Island. Standing on Heping Island, looking out, you can see the majestic and magnificent Leizu Mausoleum standing on the top of Qinglong Mountain. The Heping Island Square covers an area of about 1,900 square meters, forming a Tai Chi shape.
