Holiday Beach is located beside Binhai Avenue in the west of Haikou City. It is 6 kilometers long. On the left side is the lush Ephedra forest belt, with resorts, hotels, amusement parks, etc. scattered among them; on the right side is the vast blue waves of Qiongzhou Strait, with ships shuttling on the sea, splashing silver and jade.

On summer nights, the area is bustling with activity at the large open-air seafood barbecue plaza. Nearby are the prestigious yacht club and several luxury hotels. Along Holiday Beach, there's a wide, clean coastal promenade, offering a pleasant stroll in the breeze.
