The Beitou Library is located within the lushly forested Beitou Park. Unlike typical concrete libraries, which are often rigid and cold, the Beitou Library's interior and exterior are primarily constructed of wood, blending seamlessly with the surrounding park and trees. Like a large tree house nestled deep in the forest, it imbues the library with a romantic and humanistic atmosphere.

The library is entirely covered in floor-to-ceiling windows, offering panoramic views of the natural beauty of the outdoors. The children's reading room is located on the basement floor, providing a brighter and more relaxing reading environment. Parents can spend a pleasant weekend afternoon here with their children.

The library is divided into three floors. The first floor serves as the entrance and reading hall, housing a comprehensive information desk, a periodical and newspaper section, a reference material area, and a computer search area for readers to access and retrieve information. The second floor houses the library, where a wide variety of Chinese and foreign books are neatly displayed on low wooden shelves 110 cm above the floor. Reading chairs are also provided between the shelves.
