The Maokong Gondola, running from the west side of the Taipei Zoo to the Maokong area, is 4.03 kilometers long and has four stations. It's distinguished by being Taipei's first sightseeing and recreational gondola, Taiwan's longest, and Taiwan's first public transportation gondola.

This is a very famous place to take the cable car. The scenery along the way is beautiful. Because the cable car route is winding and there are many undulating terrains, the scenery is quite varied.
