To the east of Shenmu Station on the main peak of Alishan, stands a towering red cypress tree. Its trunk is slightly tilted, its main trunk broken, but its branches remain lush and verdant. Approximately 52 meters tall and 23 meters in girth, it requires more than a dozen people to embrace. Standing tall and majestic, its lush, vibrant, and majestic form is revered as the "Sacred Tree of Alishan." It's estimated to be over 3,000 years old, making it the king of trees in Asia, second only to the "World Grandfather," a giant tree in America.
