The Alishan Railway departs from Chiayi Station, and the next stop is Beimen Station, formerly known as "Beimen Station." Beimen Station was the former timber terminal of the Alishan Forest Railway. Its exterior is quite simple and lovely, and it is a wooden station built with high-quality Alishan red cypress.
