The Firefly Water Cave Tourist Area, located at the foot of Shimi Mountain, 19 kilometers south of Yishui County , is a renowned and mysterious underground firefly cave. Formed between 65 million and 230 million years ago, the cave spans 1,200 meters and features a 25,000 -square-meter glowing lake . The cave itself is vast, boasting a diverse array of karst landscapes. The underground lake within the cave is filled with plentiful, clear, sweet, and unfathomable water.
