Private driver service in Surabaya for Bromo and Ijen
Hey all, planning to visit Surabaya soon. I would like to hire a private driver for the following journeys: Surabaya to Ijen, and Ijen to Bromo.
I am not interested in private tours, I only need the driver services. Any idea how can I go about getting that? Do I have to book online or can I do it at Surabaya airport when I touchdown? What kind of price will I be looking at as well?

from surabaya to ijen crater you have to travel around 7-8, i have an option for you to rest, you should take a trip from surabaya to bondowoso after that you book a hotel in the bondowoso area at 2 am get up to go to ijen, with journey 1,5 hours, when you arrive at the parking area you do trekking after that, rush to prepare for Bromo with a time of 5-6 hours

Hi, I saw your post from 2 years ago and wondered if you can recommend a decent contact to do exactly the same - hire driver and car Surabaya -Bromo -Ljen-Malang- Surabaya. Not interested in tours , Im a photographer and am hoping to find someone who can work with early starts etc.

Group of 4 traveling from Surabaya airport to Cemoro Lawang on Jan 19, plan on staying two nights there. Then back to Surabaya train station to go to Yogyakarta. In January because of chances of rain, wondering whether Madakaripura waterfall is worth going. We are hikers and interested in photography. So would need a private driver contact, please.
