Vietnam-Immi.Org this site is a big scam. They got the money but never process my application. I contact them after immediate cancelation within 24 hours but they did not return my money. I need to disputer with my visa card.
Need more info really. Like how soon was the visa required? You say they didn't process the application? How so, more details?
As for not returning the money, standard fare when it comes to getting visas from any source, in any country. Be it direct from an immigration department or via 3rd party companies etc. If the application gets put in and for what ever reason it gets rejected or it gets delivered too late etc, no money back. As for 24hrs, even 10 minutes is probably too late to cancel. But do tell us more.
Such visa sites are often labelled as a scam. However as far as I know a scam is something illegal.
Was their action illegal?
No application process ever done. I had to apply via the official Vietnam government site with ONLY 1/3 the fee and got a visa within a few days https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/tra-cuu-thi-thuc
Edited: 1 year agoI am not sure how legal term defined here. If you got money from customers and never done any jobs for them. It that legal?
Why would you not apply via the official site initially, from what I read on the forum a number of people use these types of agencies which at best charge extra for getting your visa for you.
I did not know it till too late.
And that is probably the crux of the matter. You probably found out about the official site and demanded a refund. That is the problem with online transactions. It takes seconds to do. And having filled in the online form (email or otherwise), it was probably sent to immigration as soon as you paid the money over. And immigration departments, the world over don't do refunds. Be it Vietnam, USA and even the UK no difference. No refund.
But as I wrote originally, I seriously doubt you'll get a refund from the CC but hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Go for it.
In the US, all transactions if cancel within 24 hours should have full refund. That is the law. I think International businesses have the same common practice.
I will contact my Visa card to negotiate with them. If they don't honor it then their business will have some impact. I will post on my social media to warn others who may run into the same situation. Business is based on creditibitly and customer satisfactions. Thanks Buddy.
If there were a whole heap of 'scam' visa sites, then the forum would be full of sob stories.
It's not.
Good luck in your endeavours.
