I am planning to take a train from Delhi to Chandigarh and was wondering if there is restriction in relation to the size of suitcases that can fit in the overhead storage units within the chair car?
The chair car overhead racks fit all but the largest suitcases. The last row of seats in the carriage typically has some extra space behind where the very largest bags can be stored. As with any travel in India - keep a sharp eye on your bags at all times no matter where they are.
