We’ve just booked duo for 3 weeks in Vietnam. Me and the Mrs were last there about 15 years ago but now travelling with 2 kids (aged 5 and 10) so would appreciate some advice. We are thinking of the following:
Days 1-5 Ho Chi Minh ( Mekong tour, war museum, tunnels and a little chill out time to acclimatise)
Fly to Danang and 7 nights there
2 nights in Hoi An
5 nights in An Bang
Fly to HCM for the last night or 2
Does that work with weather?
As we have kids - we will have a mix of day drips and lazy days.

Yup. That works just wouldn't bother changing hotels in Hoi An area. 7 nights in An Bang with day trips to Hoi An. It's only about 5k between the two.
