Motorbike/scooter hire
Hi. We are arriving in North Goa on 20th December and staying for 10 nights at Seashells villa and suites. We would like to rent a motorbike. My husband has a full bike license and loves vintage bikes so would love to hire an Enfield. If not then a 125 scooter would do. We always hire those in Vietnam and Sri Lanka, usually from local people. Are motorized bikes readily available for hire in Candolim?
Also how easy is it to get around on them?
And finally any recommendations for Christmas meal
Hi you will have no bother renting any bike you want. As long as you have full motorcycle licence and international driving license. You can actually rent them fully leagal from royal enfield in apora. If u rent off street. Insurance and safety can b schecthey?. Also if you go royal enfield with correct licence. Ask for a test ride. I had gr8 fun 😁.
Hiring a bike is no problem just haggle a bit,you need uk licence for motorcycle and an international driving permit,take your own helmet if you can ,local ones can be iffy
My husband always hires a Royal Enfield when we go, usually organised via hotel I think. Highlight of his holiday!
When we were in Goa over Xmas a few years ago I recall Xmas Eve having bigger celebrations than Xmas Day but maybe that was just where we stayed.
