Day use only pool/hot springs

I feel like I've searched every resort page looking for day use only of the mineral pools in the area!! Only one I found so far was Meadowlark for $50. Does anyone know if other resorts offer a day use only pool pass? We just want to soak and relax.

Calistoga, located in Napa Valley, is famous for its natural hot springs and mineral pools. Many resorts in the area primarily cater to overnight guests, but a few offer day-use options for visitors who just want to relax and soak in the healing waters without booking a full stay. Pricing and availability can vary, so it’s always best to call ahead and confirm.

Here are some options to consider for day-use mineral pools in Calistoga:

  • Meadowlark Hot Springs: As you mentioned, Meadowlark offers day-use access for around $50. Guests can enjoy the hot springs and pool area for a few hours.
  • Indian Springs Resort: One of the oldest resorts in Calistoga, Indian Springs occasionally offers day passes to their pools and hot springs, especially in the late morning to afternoon hours. Access may include mineral pools, a heated swimming pool, and spa facilities.
  • Calistoga Spa Hot Springs: Some packages allow non-staying guests to use the pools during the day. They often provide access to multiple mineral pools and sometimes hot tubs, making it ideal for a few hours of relaxation.
  • Solage Calistoga: While primarily a resort for overnight guests, they sometimes offer limited day spa packages that include pool access and mineral soaking experiences, typically booked through the spa.
  • Dr. Wilkinson’s Hot Springs Resort: Another historic location, they occasionally provide day passes to visitors for access to their mineral pools, along with a few spa services if desired.

Tips for planning your day-use visit:

  • Call ahead to confirm day-use availability, hours, and pricing, as some resorts only allow limited access or require reservations.
  • Consider visiting on weekdays, as pools may be less crowded and more likely to offer day-use passes.
  • Bring swimwear, towels (if not provided), and water shoes for comfort while moving around the pool areas.
  • Some resorts also offer additional spa services like massages or facials as part of a day-use package, so inquire if you want a full relaxation experience.

Overall, while day-use options in Calistoga are more limited than overnight stays, several resorts do welcome visitors for a few hours of soaking in the mineral pools. Planning ahead and calling directly is the key to ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable visit.
