Hi, We are flying into ATL on Delta from Bonaire arriving around 7:30 pm and leaving the next morning on a domestic flight around 9:15. We are looking for a decent moderately priced hotel ($100 to $150) that might have some restaurants nearby that we could walk to and that might be open late. We are vegetarian but if we could find even a good salad and some soup, or Indian food, or Thai ... a lot of things can work. I am concerned that by the time we get luggage and a shuttle many places will be closed.
I'd love to stay in one that has access to the sky train but they seem more expensive. Thank you for your help,
If you’re flying into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and only staying one night, you have a few good hotel options within walking or short shuttle distance that cater to moderate budgets and have nearby dining options.
Most airport hotels offer free shuttles to and from the terminals, and some are connected to the ATL SkyTrain, which can make getting to and from the airport quicker. However, many mid-range hotels in the $100–$150 range are a bit further from the SkyTrain stations, meaning you may rely on the hotel shuttle instead.
Here are some good hotel options near ATL with nearby dining:
For late-night vegetarian-friendly meals, your best bet may be either hotel dining options or fast-casual chains that stay open later. Nearby restaurants may include:
If staying close to the SkyTrain is a priority, consider hotels like the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway, though prices may be higher than $150. Otherwise, shuttles from moderately priced hotels should be convenient enough for your short stay.
Overall, for a one-night layover with vegetarian options, relying on hotel shuttle service plus late-night casual dining nearby will likely meet your needs without having to overspend on a SkyTrain-connected hotel.
