Sale Pepe is reopening in Emerald Plaza, in the old Alchemy space. It's at 157 Kupuohi St., near Island Grocery Depot and A Special Touch Florists.
They have a lot of work to do but hope to open in a few months. They were 2/3 of the partners of Pacific O, as well.

It's exciting to hear that Sale Pepe is reopening in the Emerald Plaza, especially since it was a beloved spot for many locals and visitors. The restaurant will be taking over the old Alchemy space at 157 Kupuohi St., which is conveniently located near Island Grocery Depot and A Special Touch Florists. This area is known for its charming local shops, making it a great spot for a new dining experience.
Sale Pepe was previously known for its excellent Italian cuisine, and with the team being part of Pacific O (which was another popular restaurant), you can expect a high standard of food and service. Although the restaurant has a lot of work to do before the opening, their track record suggests that the wait will be well worth it. Expect delicious dishes, a cozy ambiance, and a true taste of Italian flavors that made Sale Pepe so popular in the past.
As for the timeline, they hope to open in a few months, so keep an eye on their social media or local food news for updates on their grand reopening. The reopening of Sale Pepe adds another layer of excitement to the culinary scene in Maui, and it's great to see new life breathed into such an iconic space.
