What to see and do in November?
We have a group of 70 year olds coming to Branson in mid November and we’re looking for some good Christmas experiences. Christmas lights or displays and also a place for 10 - 14 of us to have a nice dinner.
Can you help with some recommendations?

- Branson Scenic Railway Christmas Train: A charming train ride through the Ozark foothills with Christmas decorations and lights, offering a nostalgic experience.
- Shepherd of the Hills Trail of Lights: Drive or walk through this outdoor light display set on the beautiful Ozark Mountains, which is especially enjoyable for groups.

Shows and Entertainment:
- Many of Branson’s theaters have special Christmas shows in November. Consider shows like the Presley’s Country Jubilee or Hughes Brothers Christmas Show for a festive experience.
- The Andy Williams Christmas Show (if available at the Moon River Theater) is also a classic holiday favorite.
Dining Options for a Group of 10–14:
- Branson Landing Restaurants: A variety of upscale options along the waterfront suitable for larger groups. Restaurants like Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse or Pappo’s Pizza can accommodate larger parties with reservations.
- Level 2 Steakhouse: Known for quality service and a menu that appeals to a broad range of tastes. Perfect for group dining.
- Dobyns Dining Room at Big Cedar Lodge: A fine dining experience with Ozark views. They can accommodate larger groups with advance notice.
- McFarlain’s Family Restaurant: A cozy, local option that is experienced in handling larger groups and offers classic American fare.
Tips:
- Make dining reservations in advance, especially for a group of your size, as November begins the holiday season and many restaurants book early.
- Plan visits to the light displays and shows either in the late afternoon or early evening to maximize the lighting experience while avoiding peak crowds.
- Check each attraction’s website for specific opening dates in November, as some may start seasonal operations at different times.
Overall, your group will find Branson in mid-November festive, manageable in size crowds, and full of Christmas charm. Combining a light display, a holiday show, and a nice group dinner will make for a memorable visit.
