Mid afternoon lunch in walking distance Mercedes stadium
We are going to be at the stadium tomorrow night, but would like to park in the area and eat nearby before the game.
Any suggestions? Or should we just eat in the stadium?
If you're looking for a nice spot to grab lunch near Mercedes-Benz Stadium, you're in luck! There are plenty of dining options in walking distance that will allow you to enjoy a meal before the game. The area around the stadium is bustling with a variety of eateries, from quick bites to more casual sit-down spots. Here's a list of a few popular options:
- Rathbun's - A stylish, upscale American restaurant known for its seafood and steaks. It's a little more on the pricier side but great for a nice sit-down meal.
- Paschal's - A Southern classic! If you're in the mood for comfort food like fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread, this is the spot.
- The Local Wood Fire Pizza - If you're craving pizza, The Local offers delicious wood-fired pies and is just a short walk from the stadium. Casual and quick, perfect for a laid-back lunch.
- Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria - Another excellent pizza option, known for its thin crust and classic toppings. It's a cozy spot for a quick and tasty meal.
- Atlanta Breakfast Club - If you’re an early lunch person, this spot offers hearty Southern-style breakfast and brunch options, like chicken and waffles, grits, and omelets.
- Greenwood's - If you're looking for a healthy and refreshing lunch, this restaurant offers great salads, bowls, and vegetarian-friendly options. It’s a quick, satisfying meal before the game.
If you're in a rush or want to stick to something more convenient, eating inside the stadium is also an option. Mercedes-Benz Stadium offers a variety of food stands with local favorites and more, so you won’t go hungry. But if you have time to spare, I highly recommend trying one of the nearby restaurants for a more enjoyable pre-game experience!
