Can I walk outside from terminal C to E at Logan? I arrive into C on a domestic flight on Jet Blue, then depart hours later on British Air from E. Will have rolling luggage with me but can’t check bags all the way through to London since I’m flying on two different airlines and itineraries. So I assume I will be forced to walk outdoors between the two terminals and of course have to go through security again after I check in for my BA flight.
Thanks for any insights. Claire
At Logan Airport, walking between Terminal C (where JetBlue operates) and Terminal E (where British Airways operates) requires going outside. While there is no direct indoor connection between the two terminals, you can walk between them on the ground level. The walk will take about 5-10 minutes, depending on your pace, and is manageable even with rolling luggage.
Since you’re flying on two different airlines with separate itineraries, you'll need to check your bags at Terminal C and retrieve them once you land in Boston. After collecting your bags, you will head to Terminal E for your British Airways flight. This means you will indeed need to go through security again at Terminal E after checking in for your international flight.
While walking outside is totally possible, just be mindful of the weather, as it can sometimes be chilly or rainy depending on the season. Logan's shuttle buses run frequently and can help you save time if you prefer not to walk.
