We are flying from Fort Lauderdale to Boston on Delta so it looks like it will arrive at Terminal A. We then have a connecting flight with ITA to Rome, which I am assuming will leave out of Terminal E. Our layover time is 3hr 15mins. Since it is a connecting flight, and our bags will be checked through from Fort Lauderdale, I am assuming we will not need to check in again at Terminal E, correct? So, we will just need to leave Terminal A, either walk or take the bus to Terminal E and go thru security at Terminal E, correct? I have never connected at an airport where you have to go back thru security for a connection so just trying to understand what to expect when we get there.
