Photo Booth
I visted Vegas about 10 years ago and there was a booth where a guy took your photo with different backgrounds to make it look like you were surfing or horseback ridiing etc... I think it was at the Excalibur. I called the front desk at Excalibur and they said it is no longer there. Is this anywhere else now ? Our family is here again and would like to do this.......Thanks
It sounds like you're referring to one of those fun novelty photo booths where you can take photos with different themed backgrounds—like surfing, horseback riding, or other cool scenes. Unfortunately, these types of photo booths have become less common, especially at the Excalibur, where they used to be quite popular. However, you can still find similar experiences around Las Vegas! Here are a few places where you can enjoy that kind of fun photo op:
- The Neon Museum: While not the same as the old Excalibur photo booths, the Neon Museum offers a great photo experience. It’s home to some of the city’s most iconic neon signs from old casinos, and it's a perfect spot for family photos with retro Vegas backgrounds.
- Vegas Photo Tours: This is another great option where you can book a photo tour and take pictures at famous Vegas locations. They also offer themed photos, and a guide will help you create memorable shots throughout the city.
- Photo Booths at The LINQ Promenade: If you're looking for a more traditional photo booth experience with a modern twist, head to The LINQ Promenade. There are a few photo booths scattered around the area where you can snap pictures with fun backgrounds or even customize them with special effects.
- Planet Hollywood's "Magic Mirror" Experience: While not a traditional photo booth, Planet Hollywood in the Forum Shops offers an immersive "Magic Mirror" experience where you can take photos in front of digital backdrops that make it look like you're in different environments. It's a unique twist on the classic photo booth idea!
- Hollywood Photos: There are also a few standalone photo studios in Vegas, like Hollywood Photos, which offer themed photo shoots where you can pose in front of various backdrops like Hollywood sets, classic cars, and more.
While the exact style of the Excalibur booth may not be available, these spots can still offer some fun and memorable photo experiences for your family. Hopefully, one of these options will give you the experience you're looking for!
