Paris Pool

Staying at Paris for the first time this summer and I am planning on a pool day during my trip. Do the daybeds come with umbrellas? There's only going to be 2 of us so a cabana seems excessive but I need an umbrella. It looks like the lounge daybeds are right on the border of the pool and the regular daybeds are bigger and set back from the pool a bit.

Is there anyone who can advise? Thanks!

Staying at Paris Las Vegas for the first time sounds like a great plan! The pool area there is lovely and offers a fun, relaxing atmosphere with a great view of the Strip. As for your question about daybeds and umbrellas, here’s some information that might help you plan your pool day:

1. Daybeds and Umbrellas: The daybeds at the Paris pool typically do come with umbrellas, but this can depend on the specific type of daybed you choose. There are different types of daybeds in the pool area, including lounge daybeds (which are closer to the pool) and regular daybeds (which are larger and set back a little further). Both types of daybeds are usually equipped with umbrellas, but availability can vary depending on the time of day, the season, and how busy the pool is. Since you're a party of two, the regular daybed might be a more comfortable option, as it's larger, and you should be able to get one with an umbrella.

2. Lounge Daybeds vs. Regular Daybeds: Based on your preference for an umbrella and avoiding something too excessive like a cabana, the regular daybed is probably your best bet. These daybeds are a bit further back from the pool but are larger, providing more space and typically come with umbrellas. The lounge daybeds are closer to the water, but they’re usually a bit smaller, and you may have to request an umbrella or get one if it's available.

  • Lounge Daybeds: Closer to the pool, more intimate, but may require additional requests for umbrellas, depending on availability.
  • Regular Daybeds: Larger, set back slightly from the pool, generally include umbrellas, and offer more space for two people, which may be more comfortable for you.
  • Cabana: If you decide to opt for more privacy and space, cabanas are available, but as you mentioned, they might feel a bit excessive for just two people.

It’s always a good idea to call ahead or ask when you check in about the availability of daybeds with umbrellas, especially during peak times in the summer. If you have a specific preference for an umbrella, making a request when reserving the daybed or upon arrival can ensure a better experience.

Enjoy your pool day at Paris! It’s a great spot to relax and soak up the Vegas sun.
