Which show? Haygoods vs Six

We have a group of 14 people spending a week in Branson and are deciding between Haygoods or Six.

We have a wide variety of ages. Age 14 through 65. Within this, we have a 16, 17, 19, 20 year old.

If you had to pick just one, which do you think the teens would like the most?

Thanks!

Both "The Haygoods" and "Six" are excellent shows in Branson, but they offer different types of performances, so it depends on what the group enjoys. Here's a breakdown to help you decide which might be the better choice, especially for the teens in your group:

The Haygoods is a high-energy variety show featuring a family of talented performers. It has a great mix of music, impressive choreography, and light-hearted humor. The show features a lot of different genres—pop, country, rock, and even classical—so it's very dynamic and can appeal to a wide range of tastes. There are some flashy visual effects, impressive instrumental performances, and fun crowd interaction. The show is designed to keep audiences engaged with its mix of styles, which tends to be more family-friendly and suitable for a variety of ages. The teens in your group will likely enjoy the modern hits they play and the overall fast pace of the show.

  • Pros for teens: A great mix of music, visual effects, and energy that appeals to younger audiences.
  • Cons: If they prefer something more unique or specific to a certain genre, they might find it a bit more generic.

Six is a musical group of six brothers who perform using only their voices and vocal percussion to create all of the sound effects and music. It's a more acapella-style performance with impressive harmonies and beatboxing. The show is incredibly talented and can be a fun experience for people who appreciate vocal talent. It is a bit more unique, with a focus on vocal skill rather than instrumental music or choreography. The brothers also mix in humor and storytelling, which makes it a fun and engaging show for all ages. While the younger crowd may appreciate the amazing vocal skills, it might be a bit slower-paced compared to the Haygoods.

  • Pros for teens: The vocal talent is impressive, and they may appreciate the unique and creative performance. It’s a little more intimate and has a very cool vibe.
  • Cons: If they prefer more high-energy performances or like a wider variety of music genres, they may not connect as much with the show’s more subdued pace.

Recommendation: If your main priority is appealing to the teens in your group, I would recommend The Haygoods. It offers a faster-paced, high-energy show that combines a variety of music styles with a lot of visual excitement, which is more likely to capture the attention of teens. "Six" is also a great choice, but if you're looking to keep the teens more engaged and entertained, "The Haygoods" is the safer bet.

Ultimately, both shows are fantastic, so you can't go wrong with either one. It just depends on whether the teens would prefer something more musical and vocal-focused ("Six") or something with a broader variety of styles and more dynamic performances ("The Haygoods").
