Grocery store and uber
I am flying into Miami in 2 weeks,I have a rental car. I want to get a disposable foam cooler from a store for my trip. Anyone know where those are sold. Aldi, Publix?
And one more question, is it difficult to get an uber to the airport at 3 am, or should I just call a taxi?
Thanks for your help.
For disposable foam coolers in Miami, you have several convenient options. Most major grocery stores carry them, and you can easily pick one up before starting your trip.
- Publix: Widely available throughout Miami. Look in the seasonal or outdoor/camping section for foam coolers, often near the disposable plates and picnic supplies.
- Aldi: Some locations carry small disposable foam coolers, but availability can vary. Check the seasonal aisle if they have one.
- Walmart or Target: Both stores carry a variety of disposable and reusable coolers, and they are generally stocked in the outdoor, camping, or seasonal sections.
- Local convenience stores: Some Walgreens or CVS stores may carry small foam coolers, though the selection will be limited.
Regarding Uber at 3:00 am from your location to the airport:
- Uber and Lyft do operate 24/7 in Miami, and pickup is usually reliable even in the early morning hours, especially if you schedule a ride in advance using the app.
- Demand at 3:00 am is typically low, so fares should be reasonable. In most areas, you won’t have to wait more than 5–10 minutes for a driver.
- If you prefer certainty, especially if your flight is international, calling a traditional taxi or scheduling an airport shuttle is a safe alternative, though Uber is generally easier and cheaper.
In summary, for your foam cooler, Publix, Walmart, or Target are your best bets. For a 3:00 am airport trip, Uber is convenient and reliable, but a taxi works as a backup if you want guaranteed timing.
