Hi everyone! just returned yesterday from Disney's Riviera Resort. It was really nice, but wanting to try another deluxe resort next year. I am leaning towards Grand Floridian. Anyone have any thoughts on this one or any that they think are better?
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is often considered the flagship deluxe resort at Walt Disney World, known for its Victorian elegance, prime location on the monorail line, and top-tier amenities. If you enjoyed the Riviera Resort, the Grand Floridian offers a different experience with a focus on classic Disney luxury and a very central location for Magic Kingdom access.
Here are some key highlights of the Grand Floridian:
If you’re considering other deluxe resorts for comparison, you might look at:
Overall, the Grand Floridian is often recommended for its combination of luxury, location, and Disney heritage feel. If you love a classic, opulent Disney resort experience and convenience to Magic Kingdom, it’s hard to beat. However, if you want something more themed or modern, the Contemporary, Polynesian, or Wilderness Lodge provide very different but equally memorable experiences.
Booking early, considering view preferences, and checking for seasonal deals can also make a big difference in your stay. Each deluxe resort has its own charm, so it ultimately comes down to whether you prefer classic elegance, tropical vibes, rustic charm, or immersive wildlife experiences.
