The park covers an area of over 2,000 mu and boasts a large area of pristine subtropical rainforest in South China, making it a large-scale original ecological zoo. It also offers a self-drive zoo mode, covering an area of nearly 1 million square meters.
For your convenience, we've divided the park into five areas: A, B, C, D, and E. The recommended order for visiting the areas is in alphabetical order.

Chimelong Safari Park has two gates: the South Gate and the North Gate. It's recommended to start at the North Gate, as this is where the train journey begins and ends.
Area A is the entire area of the train's tour. Along the way, you'll see a variety of wild animals native to the African grasslands and other continents, including surprisingly docile leopards, mountain-guarding African lions, camels galloping across the desert, the unusually elusive Malayan tapir, and white rhinos resting near waterways.
In short, the leisurely sightseeing tour of the little train will never disappoint you.
Tips:
1. The train ride takes about 30-40 minutes. You cannot get off the train during the ride. The train will stop briefly at places where animals gather.
2. When riding the train, it is recommended to sit in the seat on the far right, as animals are more likely to appear here.

After taking a tour of Area A by train, you'll return to the starting point, marking the end of your tour of Area A (the self-drive viewing area is this area). It's recommended that you get a map and take photos of the show times with your phone, then start walking to admire the various animals in the area.
Tips:
1. Pay attention to the performance time. It is recommended to take pictures with your mobile phone to avoid missing the performance.
2. Parents with children, please note: Strollers are available for rent here. The deposit is 200 yuan and the fee is 100 yuan per day.
As soon as you enter the park, you can see the opening hours of each area and the animal behavior display schedule, so you can optimize your route according to the schedule of the day.

After getting off the train, walk to Swan Lake Square and you can see all kinds of beautiful and rare water dancers, such as pelicans.

The colorful black swan is one of the most dazzling dancers on the water stage.
A little science: Before the 17th century, Europeans believed all swans were white. The subsequent discovery of black swans in Australia overturned this conventional wisdom. The term "black swan event" is now often used to describe various sudden and unusual events.

Then turn right and follow the signs for the scenic area without thinking too much, and you will arrive at the Rainforest World, which is also one of the most exciting areas of the itinerary!
The first stop is the Jurassic Forest. This is the world's premier dynamic, highly realistic dinosaur park. Faint-hearted children, don't be intimidated! The dinosaurs in the forest are constantly on the move, and you might get a fright.
Trek through the jungle, discovering surprises and thrills at every step. Living in a world so far removed from modern times, these giant jungle beasts are sure to surprise you around every corner! Just as you're about to recover from your shock, a deafening roar echoes from the mysterious, empty cave ahead, transporting you back to a century ago.

Following the Jurassic Forest, there's Rainforest Wonderland, Jungle Monsters, and Mini World. The "rainforest residents" include giant anteaters, mini marmosets, flying hornbills, orangutans, toucans, macaws, and other jungle dwellers. Numerous birds and animals, each with their own unique postures, vie for attention.
Ring-tailed lemur
It has a long tail with 11-12 black and white rings.

orangutan
The orangutan you see now is the park's star. His name is "Liu Mao," and you'll definitely see him. Orangutans are found in parts of Indonesia and Malaysia. They are revered by Indonesian indigenous people and are called "mountain gods." Orangutans build new homes in trees almost every day, earning them the nickname "forest freaks."

Hornbill
This peculiar and precious large bird, with a beak that measures one-third to one-half its body length, and a copper-helmet-like protrusion on its head called a casque, resembling a rhinoceros horn, earns its name. It is primarily found in the tropical rainforests of Africa and southern Asia.
Interestingly, each hornbill here has its own name, and staff members even feed it cherry tomatoes to entice the birds into performing various flight maneuvers.

Sun Conure
Also known as the sun parakeet, it is mostly distributed in Brazil and Guyana.

Blue-and-yellow Macaw (Glass Macaw)
Originated in the tropical regions of America, it is the most beautiful and colorful parrot and one of the brightest stars in the park. Has its handsome and gorgeous back successfully attracted you?

vulture
This large bird is the largest raptor on the plateau, with a wingspan of over two meters. It employs gliding, an energy-saving flight method. It is a natural decomposer, primarily feeding on the carcasses of large animals and other decaying matter, earning it the nickname "the cleaner of the grasslands."

owl
A sharp-eyed owl! With a piercing gaze that sees through everything!
There are many misunderstandings about owls among the Chinese people, but in Japan, owls are considered lucky birds and even became the mascot of the Nagano Winter Olympics, representing good luck and happiness. In Western culture, owls are a symbol of wisdom. The messenger used to deliver letters in "Harry Potter" is an owl.

Next, we enter Area C, which is a line with the starting point: Baihu Mountain and the end point: Asian elephants. The animals there are mainly tigers, white kangaroos, giraffes, koalas, Asian elephants, etc.
Baihu Mountain is home to white tigers, South China tigers, golden tigers, Siberian tigers, Bengal tigers, etc. The exhibition area is decorated with huge rocks and rockery, and gurgling water, simulating the tiger's living environment in the wild. There is a performance here: white tiger diving.
Golden Tiger
The golden variant of the Bengal tiger has a golden body and is extinct in the wild.

Bengal tiger
Second only to the Siberian tiger in size, it is one of the fastest animals in the world, running at speeds approaching 80 kilometers per hour.

White Tiger
The Bengal tiger, the albino species and the treasure of Chimelong Safari Park, has a gentle temperament and graceful body, and is known as the "Miss" tiger.

White Kangaroo
Native to Australia, it is the result of a genetic mutation in the red-necked wallaby. It is completely white and very beautiful, earning it the nickname "Snow White".

giraffe
To avoid danger, they sleep only two hours a day, spending most of that time standing up and dozing. Adult giraffes can reach up to six meters in height, and if they keep their heads down to feed for extended periods, they can easily suffer from cerebral congestion. Therefore, they prefer to eat high leaves. Everyone knows that giraffes prefer to eat high leaves, but the reason is less well-known, a little-known fact I learned after visiting the park.

Asian elephants
The Asian elephant is the largest land animal in Asia. It is large in size and strong in strength, and few animals can compete with it.

Koalas
Koalas, also known as koalas, are Australia's national treasure. Their English name, Koala bear, comes from an ancient Aboriginal word meaning "no drink." The name is meant because koalas derive 90% of their water from their eucalyptus leaves, rarely drinking water directly. They sleep for 18 hours a day and have a docile temperament and a simple demeanor. When awake, they spend most of their time eating, making them true lazybones. Children, beware!

After visiting Area C, we will enter Area D. The core of Area D is pandas, and its elements include Panda Park, Cute and Cool Park, and 4D Cinema.
Between the cute and cool park and the 4D cinema, there's an exhibit for black-capped snub-nosed monkeys, white-cheeked gibbons, spider monkeys, and macaques. While this makes full use of the space, the theme doesn't seem to be prominent. For this reason, this area has been designated the Panda Theme Park and Golden Monkey Kingdom. Besides pandas, the remaining exhibits are primates, including golden snub-nosed monkeys, macaques, and lemurs.
Giant Panda
Our national treasure, the giant panda, has lived on Earth for at least 8 million years. Because they produce only a limited number of offspring during their lifetime, they are extremely precious and are known as living fossils. Their primary habitat is the mountainous regions of Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu in China. Their adorable appearance captivates many tourists.

spider monkey
Spider monkeys are found in the tropical forests of South America.

macaques
Distributed across vast areas of Afghanistan, Pakistan, northern India, and southern China, monkeys are known as "kings" in real life. Each monkey group has a king who serves a four-year term. The king is chosen through an "election" among many outstanding male monkeys. Therefore, the king's tail is often raised high to demonstrate his noble status, while other monkeys are afraid to do so.

Golden Monkey
The nostrils are almost parallel to the face, commonly known as the "upturned nose", which is an adaptation to the oxygen-deficient environment of the plateau. The degeneration of the nasal bridge helps reduce the resistance to breathing in thin air.

spotted lemur
It is mainly found in the forests of Madagascar and the Comoros Islands, and is only 50 cm long.

Tips:
1. If you want to have lunch, there is a Panda Restaurant here. The price is a bit expensive, but the food tastes good.
2. There's a 4D cinema here. Featuring the original Chimelong animated IP, the Giant Panda Triplets, the film tells the story of their adventures as they fulfill their father's wish, successfully landing on the moon and ultimately reuniting as a family. The film is captivating, the visuals beautiful, and the rotating seats and Dolby Atmos surround sound system provide a truly immersive experience. Highly recommended for those with timid children.
The aerial cable car runs 2.7 kilometers and takes 30 minutes. The lowest point is only 1 meter from the ground. You can overlook antelopes strolling in the open field, zebras running on the grassland, fly with swans and parrots, and wave to pandas and koalas. The 720-degree aerial perspective to explore the national treasures is a more vivid and interesting way to visit the park.

After getting off the cable car, Area E is full of strong African characteristics.
zebra
It is native to Africa and its natural enemies are lions, leopards, wild dogs and hyenas.

wildebeest
Every year during the dry season, millions of wildebeest migrate from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya in search of water and lush pastures. En route, they must cross the crocodile-infested Mara River, a spectacular sight known as the "Crossing to Heaven."

Pygmy hippopotamus
It is a rare species in the world from West Africa, with only 3,000 in the world.

mongoose
Do you know what this animal is? Remember the adorable meerkat from "Life of Pi"? That's right, it's this one. Not only are they adorable, but they're also incredibly hardworking and clever, earning them the nickname "the coal-mining machines" of the animal world.

Mandrill
Its face is brightly colored, with special patterns, and it looks like a ghost, so it is called mandrill. It is the largest primate in the family monkey and its main natural enemy is the leopard.

flamingo
There is also the girl flamingo that has gradually become well-known to everyone recently. It is pink and tender, and is indeed full of girlishness.

cormorant
Cormorant fishing used to be a traditional fishing method, but now this water bird has appeared in zoos. As society develops, the lives of humans and animals are also changing.

chimpanzee
The scorpionfish can discern different colors, make 32 different calls, and use simple tools, making it the most intelligent animal known after humans. Its behavior and social interactions are similar to those of humans, making it of great significance in anthropological research. It is found in central Africa.

mandarin duck
The left is yang, the right is yuan, and yuanyang is a compound word. Mandarin ducks always go out in pairs, and people often use the word to describe the love between men and women.

Asiatic black bear
It has a very sensitive sense of smell and hearing, but poor vision, so it is called "black blind" and rarely attacks humans.

At this point, the trip to Chimelong Safari Park is basically over!
