The most fascinating place in my life is Huizhou. When you think of Anhui, what comes to mind? Withered vines, old trees, crows, whitewashed walls, blue bricks, and black tiles. I think this is the answer for most people.
But the beauty captured in its architecture is just a small part of Huizhou's vast landscape; its charm extends far beyond this. During my recent trip to Anhui, I visited Tianzhu Mountain and encountered the poetic beauty captured by the writings of literati and scholars.
Tianzhu Mountaincheck the details
Tianzhu Mountain, known for its unique natural landscape, is one of Anhui Province's three most famous mountains (along with Huangshan, Jiuhua, and Tianzhu). It was named "Southern Peak" as early as the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty and has been the site of cultural activities throughout the ages. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was developed into a scenic area and was awarded AAAAA-level tourist attraction status in 2011. In September 2011, it was officially designated a UNESCO World Geopark.

Walk to the end of the water, sit and watch the clouds rise. After being accustomed to the streets of feasting and revelry, occasionally visiting the city and seeking the quiet and comfort described by poets is a kind of beauty.
Valley Flowing Spring Cultural Park, a place that sounds poetic and picturesque, injects a touch of elegance into this early autumn when the heat has not yet subsided.

The Valley Flowing Spring Cultural Park is located in Fengjing Village, Tianzhushan Town. It has won honors such as "Outdoor Poetry and Calligraphy Museum" and "Anhui's First Moment". It has a beautiful environment and profound cultural heritage. It is a great place to relax and unwind.
When you first see the Valley Flowing Spring Cultural Park, you will feel like you have stepped into a fairyland on earth. It is surrounded by green trees and densely covered with stone carvings. The fresh air exudes the innate fragrance of books, which instantly makes people interested.

Upon entering the scenic area, countless cliff carvings greet the eye. Over 500 meters of the river valley are densely covered with text, alternating between red and blue, exquisite and timeless. These words, weathered by wind and rain, remain vivid. The stone walls themselves are mottled, revealing a variety of forms eroded by nature, and the collision of these forms creates a sense of history. Most of these carvings are timeless quatrains left by literati and poets. Between the lines, one can explore the past and present, and recount the flourishing of literary styles.

Strolling slowly along the stone carvings, countless elegant scenes enveloped me. Surprisingly, tenacious greenery can be seen lurking in the cracks of the stone walls, giving me a sense of life's power. On the way, I stumbled upon a "scholar" clutching a scroll, sitting on the ground with one hand supporting him, lost in thought. He perfectly embodies the lingering feeling of Wang Anshi's poem: "The depths are endless, sitting on the stone, forgetting to return." Legend has it that when Wang Anshi took office at the Shan Gu Liu Quan, he spent a long time observing the calligraphy and listening to the spring water, inspiring him to compose this poem. The Shu Gong Pavilion within the scenic area was built in his memory.

Moving to the Tianzhu Mountain Calligraphy and Painting Academy, the gray and white gatehouse shows its ancient simplicity. A small courtyard is hidden in the mountains and forests, with an ancient charm and a kind of quiet beauty that is at peace with the world.
Walking into the calligraphy and painting academy, the warm yellow light fills the entire space. Various calligraphy and painting works are neatly displayed. Some have been completely changed after years of baptism, while some are timeless. Careful appreciation will make you feel refreshed.

If words are recorders, then museums are the doors that open to a city. Only by coming here can one travel through time and space and truly understand the history and culture of a city.

When I first saw the Tianzhushan Museum, I was attracted by its unique appearance. The irregular facets and the checkered pavement collide with each other, playing with art in the applause. The embellishment of glass elements adds a sense of technology, which makes people feel more aesthetically pleasing.

The museum consists of three floors. The first floor is the Hall of Mysteries of the Earth, the second floor is the Hall of Evolution of Life, and the third floor is the Hall of Folk Culture. The layout is clear and everyone can go directly to the exhibition hall they like according to their preferences. Of course, if time permits, you must browse the three exhibition halls one by one, and you will definitely get unexpected surprises.
Hall of Earth's Mysteries
The exhibition hall is equipped with a large number of high-tech equipment, which dynamically demonstrates geological events and provides an immersive experience of the formation of the earth, making people feel as if they have traveled back trillions of years and perceived the future as a messenger.

Hall of Life Evolution
If the mysteries of the Earth are astounding, then the evolution of life inspires gratitude and reflection. The exhibition hall displays scenes of life's evolution, each one plunging you into contemplation. These scenes invite you to escape the textbook and return to the essence of life, repeatedly experiencing the power and surprise of life.

This tells the story of the multiple identities of Tianzhu Mountain. It is the hometown of opera, the first monument of Anhui, and the dream home of countless literati and poets. There are also stone carvings displayed in the corners with clear handwriting, which tell the story of the beautiful mountains and rivers of Tianzhu Mountain.

Food, as an indispensable part of travel, plays an extremely important role, especially for a foodie. If you can't satisfy your appetite, the trip will be dull.
Tianzhu Mountain Camp Park is a camp park that integrates food, accommodation, entertainment and shopping. It covers an area of more than 700 acres, is nestled in the mountains and beside the water, brings art into nature, and combines movement and stillness, which is deeply loved by young people.

The restaurant's decoration is based on Chinese style. The reddish-brown dining table contrasts with the plants and trees outside the window, creating a fresh and elegant dining environment that makes people feel relaxed.

I highly recommend the braised fish, hairy crab with rice cakes, and Kakayama spicy chicken. The fish is tender and sweet, and the broth is rich and fragrant. Both the color and taste are mouth-watering, making it a rare dish that goes well with rice.

In comparison, rice cake hairy crab is more suitable as a pre-meal appetizer. The hairy crabs here are fried, and the meat is firm but not dry. It is crispy when put into the mouth and sweet in the mouth when chewed. The fishy smell of the crab itself is removed without reservation. With the embellishment of sesame seeds, it is colorful, fragrant and delicious, and so delicious that it makes people lick their fingers.

Geshan Spicy Chicken is incredibly satisfying, a must-try for spicy food lovers. The chicken is tender and refreshing, and the sesame seeds, crushed peanuts, and scallions add a touch of flavor, creating a spicy, sweet, and delicious dish.

If you are a rice crust lover, please be sure to order a plate of rice crust with beef sauce here, which will refresh your understanding of traditional rice crust. The rice crust here is wrapped in beef sauce and is extremely fresh and fragrant. One bite will instantly take you back to your childhood, and a sense of happiness will arise spontaneously.

The Tianzhu Mountain Grand Canyon is adjacent to the Tianzhu Mountain main peak scenic area. It is 3.5 kilometers long and has beautiful mountains and rivers and many waterfalls along the way. It is a great place to cool off and relax.
The cool feeling at the entrance is particularly strong, just like walking into an air-conditioned room. The moist air is refreshing and makes people can't help but breathe deeply. The canyon is surrounded by lush green trees. Even in early autumn, it is still full of vitality and there is no sense of depression.

"After the rain in the empty mountains, the weather turns to autumn late in the evening." It feels as if you've returned to the poet Wang Wei's words, a carefree hermit. Slowly ascending the mountain path, springs gushed along, and all was silent, leaving only the murmur of the stream. This instantly sheds one's restlessness, leaving one with a sense of tranquil beauty, detached from the world.

There is a small waterfall in the canyon, falling from the stone wall into a clear pool. The water flows rapidly and fiercely, like a beam of white smoke from top to bottom, surrounded by fairy air, which makes people's eyes bright. The place where the waterfall and the pool meet collides with huge splashes of water, like sharp blades, with clear edges and corners, which makes people feel the impact.

The name itself evokes a sense of romance, as if transported to the beautiful love story of Dong Yong and his seven sisters. But upon arriving, I discovered there's more to this place than meets the eye: this romance is laced with unexpected surprises.

Located in Shuihou Town, Qianshan City, Anhui Province, the Tianxianxia Scenic Area is a true "paradise" far removed from the hustle and bustle of the world. Themed on "celestial fairy culture," the scenic area boasts numerous attractions, including the Flower Fairy Valley, aerial rafting, the Magpie Bridge, and the Rainbow Slide. These attractions, interwoven with a romantic story, are sure to captivate you.

Upon first arriving at Tianxian Gorge, I was greeted by a lush, over-a-century-old locust tree, over 30 meters tall. Its branches were festooned with lucky bags, which danced in the gentle breeze, creating a truly beautiful scene. It's said this is a must-see for couples, as the bags are hand-placed by couples, expressing their boundless happiness.

Not far away, a glass suspension bridge stands alone, connecting two mountains. It is very imposing. The glass suspension bridge is surrounded by mist, like a fairyland on earth.

What is unexpected is that there is actually an "aerial rafting" hidden here. The rafting starts from the Tianxian Yaochi and goes down along the winding glass tunnel with a drop of more than 100 meters. The whole process is thrilling and extremely exciting, which makes people very enjoyable.

If you find airborne drifting too thrilling, try the Rainbow Slide. Sit on a tire cushion and slowly slide down the slide, feeling the colors on both sides constantly jumping.

Phoenix Source Rafting is located in Phoenix Mountain in Qianshan City. It is named because the mountain resembles a phoenix spreading its wings and soaring. The river is 5 kilometers long and the experience lasted for 2 hours. I have heard that the thrill of Phoenix Source Rafting is no less than that of a roller coaster. This experience is indeed well-deserved.

As the most thrilling rafting in Tianzhu Mountain, it is also the most pristine landscape in Tianzhu Mountain. It is known as an ancient and natural virgin land, which has not been developed and retains the most original landscape.

As you kayak down the river, the water is calm at first, without any impact. Just as you are immersed in this peace, the next wave comes, and the surging rapids pushes you into the waterfall that is dozens of meters high. The oncoming water splashes hit your heart directly, making it hard to guard against.

As we all know, the abbreviation of Anhui is "Wan", and the character "Wan" is taken from Tianzhu Mountain, which was called Wangong Mountain in ancient times. This shows its importance in the minds of Anhui people.
Known as the "Earth's Leaker" by the outside world, this place has the only ultra-high pressure metamorphic belt in the country, the largest exposed area and the deepest exposed area in the world. It is considered to be the most beautiful granite landform in the world.

Going up slowly along the Dalongwo Cableway, you will see jagged rocks on both sides and mountains in the distance, covered with green pines, shrubs and flowers. This place has not been artificially trimmed, and everything you see is original. The vigorous ancient trees, the strange stones, and the idle clouds drifting in the wind together form a vivid mountain landscape.

Dongguan Echo Terrace is an excellent viewing platform from which you can overlook the scenic area and take in the beautiful scenery of mountains and rivers. If you are tired, you may want to take a rest at Huijing Pavilion, listen to the birds singing, and enjoy the mountain breeze.

Moshang Swan Castle B&B is located next to the Tianzhu Mountain Visitor Center. Its brown and white exterior and exotic pointed roof form a sharp contrast with the surrounding buildings, making it look like a castle from a fairy tale world.

The rooms in the B&B are simply decorated, the bed sheets are clean and bright, the curtains are of great texture, and the double-layer design provides 100% light blocking. The entire room is fully equipped without excessive decoration. The overall feeling is warm and comfortable, making people feel at home.

The restaurant's decoration is more exquisite, with warm camel and white colliding with each other, matched with fresh green plants, which is pleasing to the eye. The dining table style is unified and harmonious, with apricot-colored armchairs matched with a marble-patterned dining table. The simplicity reveals a sense of design, which fully interprets the warmth of the homestay.
