Gu'an, Beijing's Back Garden, 12 recommended check-in spots, just follow them

Preface

There is a beautiful small town 50 kilometers south of Tiananmen Square in Beijing. It faces Beijing across the Yongding River, is built along the river and lives by the water. It has a history of more than 3,000 years. It stretches along the Dragon Imperial Road on the south central axis of Beijing. It is a rich and fertile land that has been fought over by military strategists in history. It has been successively recognized by national authoritative agencies as "China's Hot Spring Town", "China's Mineral Water Town", "China's Folk Culture and Art Town", "China's Fishing Tackle Town" and "China's Flower and Tree Town". Its name is Gu'an.

This small city is charming and gentle, exquisite and elegant, and exudes a captivating hue. On this journey, I'm going to enter this "Charming Gu'an City, Happy Valley of Southern Beijing," to see its past, present, and future, and to experience its unique cultural atmosphere.

There are many things to do and see in Gu'an. If you come here to play, it is recommended to travel by car.

Some people compare Gu'an to Beijing's back garden because it's so close to Beijing. For example, if two people start their own car from downtown Beijing at the same time, one heading for the North Fifth Ring Road and the other heading for Gu'an, the one heading for Gu'an will arrive first.

Daxing Airport Gu'an City Terminal

I love traveling, and I believe the happiest time is walking on the road, admiring the endless beauty along the way. But I don't want to be burdened by the heavy luggage piled up on my left and right.

From this perspective, the people of Gu'an are so lucky! Daxing Airport's first inter-provincial and inter-city terminal is located here and will be put into use soon.

Enjoy one-stop check-in, one-stop airport, and one-stop service without leaving the city. Air passengers departing from Gu'an can check in and check their baggage directly at the Gu'an City Terminal. Then, they can take the airport bus to Daxing Airport, pass through security, and enter the departure area. Let's not even talk about how convenient and efficient this travel experience is. Just say that without the hassle of carrying large and small bags, traveling light without the need for bulky luggage is something that many people will envy!

Qujiaying Music Hall

When you calm down and listen, your heartbeat naturally harmonizes with the music. This is the charm of the ancient music of Qujiaying in Gu'an. Qujiaying's music has a profound history. Along with Xi'an's imitation Tang music and dance, Hubei's chime music, and Beijing's Zhihua Temple music, it's considered one of China's four great ancient musics and a "treasure of Chinese culture."

Simply put, Qujiaying ancient music is a type of wind and percussion instrument enjoyed by both the elite and the masses. The name, derived from the Qujiaying Concert, sounds somewhat like the concerts we often hear today. However, while concerts today are more of a performance format, the Qujiaying Concert is more like the name of a band.

The Qujiaying Concert Hall, founded in the early Ming Dynasty, boasts a history of over 500 years. Originating from Buddhist temple music, it is a product of the musical exchange between the north and the south since the Song and Yuan dynasties. It combines the rustic ruggedness of northern music with the graceful elegance of southern music. It has been passed down and survived among the people, embodying rich and vivid folklore.

The instruments played in the concert include: wind pipes, flutes, shengs, cymbals, bells, cymbals, gongs, and cloud gongs.

Liu Lingcang Cultural Center

Gu'an Liu Lingcang and Guo Muxi Art Museum is a hidden art museum in the city, where you can explore the learning origins of many outstanding artists in the Chinese painting world.

Mr. Liu Lingcang was the teacher of the renowned calligrapher Liu Bingsen and painter Fan Zeng. He also created the images of Li Bai and Qu Yuan in middle school textbooks, as well as the painting "The Great Battle at Tongtian River" in the Journey to the West comic strip.

The Liu Lingcang and Guo Muxi Art Museum is the first privately-owned, public-welfare art museum in Hebei Province, the first privately-owned and public-funded art museum in the province, and the largest professional Chinese calligraphy and painting museum in the province. The venue is open to Gu'an volunteers and community charity groups. On the one hand, it creates a space for Gu'an volunteers to communicate and share services. On the other hand, it provides an interactive space for groups with common interests and hobbies, allowing different groups to establish trust and new connections through sharing cooking skills.

Great Lakes at Night

From the agricultural age of "sunrise to sunset" to modern life where we wait for the dawn and every second counts, the night is extended and lengthened. The light festival that emerged in response to this situation has made Gu'an Industrial New City even more attractive.

As night falls, the night sky of Gu'an Industrial New City is illuminated by a hazy glow of neon lights, like a dazzling, dazzling display of color, spreading from the city's core buildings to Central Park, and from Central Avenue to Peacock Lake. The chirping of cicadas, the hum of passing cars, the cries of vendors, the laughter of children, the chatter of people, the sound of wind, the rustling of water... intertwine to form a moving dance, enchanting and relaxing. I say that at this moment, life slows down. Perhaps this is how life should be.

Light city, light and shadow park, light curtain market, halo treasure, light sculpture square, light show, light lake... colorful lights accompany you all the way, and beautiful scenery follows you all the way.

Apeiron Creativity Park

Apelan Park is a large outdoor family playground that caters to the needs of young children. Dozens of original immersive rides create a space environment that suits children's physical and mental growth and development.

Surrounded by hundreds of acres of flower fields and farmland, Beaver Kaka is the park's IP cartoon character, and each one is very cute.

The "Gear Forest" is 7 meters high and 18 meters wide. It is currently the largest open-air gear device in China. It is safe and touchable. Every hour, the device on the gear will start.

Many children were fascinated by the gear forest and even made appointments for their parents to bring them to witness the moment when the gears turned.

In the Apeiron Planet Area, you can experience the super cool amusement facility "Spinning Earth", which is also the area with the most amusement equipment among the five major areas!
