10:30

Arriving at Jiuxi New Village on the bank of Qiantang River in Hangzhou, everyone warmed up and stretched themselves before setting off. All the way, the rural scenery was beautiful and simple, and we entered a quiet path, passed the misty trees of Jiuxi, and passed through the brook in the brook. There were gurgling streams along the way. Perhaps after the rain, the woods were filled with mist, and the valley was misty, making you feel like you were in a fairyland.

We then arrived at Longjing Village, the birthplace of West Lake Longjing tea. The green tea fields stretching across the hills were refreshing and a great place for taking photos.

12:30

You can also choose to have a lunch nearby at noon (bring your own dry food, snacks and water, remember to share)

Entering the quiet valley, overlooking from the Lion Rock Observation Deck, you will enjoy a broad view and a great mood. Gazing at the Tianzhu Lingyin Temple in the distance, you will feel full of Zen.

Then we climbed all the way up to Shili Langyao, where you can enjoy a broad view overlooking the West Lake and the mountains, and the city of Hangzhou in the distance. It is so magnificent, and you can pose for photos with the mountains as much as you want.

Finally, we arrived at Zhenji Temple on Wuyun Mountain. Here, we must take a photo under the ancient ginkgo tree (over 1,400 years old), which is known as the "No. 1 Ancient Tree in Hangzhou."

4:30 PM

Arrive at Jiuxi New Village, the end point of the hike, and then board the bus back to Wuxi.

8:00 PM

Back in Wuxi, everyone was still reluctant to leave and said goodbye with tears in their eyes.

Driving time: about 3 hours

Hiking: about 11km, cumulative climbing about 500m

The Nine Creeks and Eighteen Streams are located in the mountains west of West Lake, a famous tourist attraction in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The Nine Creeks and Eighteen Streams meander for 7 kilometers from Longjing Waterfall to the Qiantang River. The waters of the Nine Creeks originate in Yangmeiling and merge along the way with the Qingwan, Hongfa, Fangjia, Foshi, Baizhang, Tangjia, Xiaokang, Yunqi, and Zhutou streams. The Nine Creeks are named after them, as they flow through verdant mountains and valleys, joining countless smaller streams.

Longjing Village, known as the "First Village in Tea Country," is renowned for its production of West Lake Longjing tea. Bordered by West Lake to the east, Wuyun Mountain to the west, the surging Qiantang River to the south, and the towering peaks of the North and South Peaks to the north, it is surrounded by lush green mountains and mist, like an emerald gem inlaid on the shores of West Lake.
