Basongcuo

📍Location: Located in the upper reaches of the Bahe River in Bahe Town, Gongbujiangda County, also known as Cuogao Lake, which means "green water"

Basumtso Lake is the first 5A national scenic spot of natural scenery in Tibet in 2017. The lake water is crystal clear and surrounded by countless snow-capped mountains. It is known as "Little Switzerland".

The "Lake Heart Island" in the heart of Basongcuo Lake is particularly famous. Every visitor to this area enjoys a panoramic view of the island from the Daqiela Observation Deck. Pegucuo

📍Geographic location: Located in Gyirong County in the southern part of the Tibet Autonomous Region, it is the largest lake in the Shigatse area.

Laangcuo

📍Geographic location: Laang Co, also known as Ghost Lake, is located in Purang County, Ngari Prefecture.

Ghost Lake means poisonous black lake in Tibetan. It is interdependent with Lake Manasarovar, which is a freshwater lake, but Lake Laang is a saltwater lake. The water quality of the two lakes is completely different. The water of Ghost Lake is bitter and difficult to swallow, which is probably the origin of its name.

There are often three-foot-high waves on Lake Laangcuo even when there is no wind. The lakeside is inlaid with a silver-white pebble beach and surrounded by dark hills, which always give people a strange and confusing feeling.

Manasarovar
