In this ancient and mysterious land of Australia, there is not only magnificent natural scenery, but also a group of cute animals.
They attract the attention of the whole world with their unique charm, from the cute koalas to the lively kangaroos, to the marine life in the sea.

As an isolated island from the mainland, the Tropic of Capricorn passes through the center of Australia. It has many climate zones including deserts, grasslands, rainforests, and monsoon climates, and has evolved a unique biological system.
In everyone's mind, Australia only has kangaroos and koalas, but in fact the species and ways of playing here are wilder than you can imagine. It is basically a large wildlife park!
As a product manager who studied and worked in Australia for four years, I encountered many strange things about animals during my time there:

1️⃣National Treasures: Kangaroo balls on a bottle opener vs. kangaroo meatballs in hot pot
2️⃣The elegant white ibis has transformed into a "trash bird" at the entrance of a fast food restaurant
3️⃣ "Big rats" that can grow to the size of kittens wander around
4️⃣The snake that leisurely crawls past your door in the morning is more refreshing than an alarm clock.

As we all know, Australia has 6 states and 2 territories. After driving 20,000 kilometers around Australia, I broke into the tourism industry again. Let’s take a look at my top travel rankings:
Western Australia > Northern Territory > South Australia > Tasmania > Queensland > Victoria > New South Wales > Australian Capital Territory.

What's your go-to Australian destination? Share your coordinates in the comments!
Each state actually has its own representative animal. I think each representative animal is also the walking soul spokesperson of each state. Let me explain it in detail below:

Experience the healing moment of penguins returning to their nests on Phillip Island. The little blue penguin with blue feathers is the smallest penguin in the world.
During the day they go out to sea to look for food, and only return to their nests in groups after dusk. They wait on the beach for the little blue penguins to stagger ashore. The closest observation distance is only 3 meters!

Victoria has a literary and artistic critique from Melbourne, the most livable city in the world. Enjoy a slow life surrounded by the aroma of coffee. Order a Flat White at a street cafe in Federation Square, watch the vintage trams ding-dong by, and take a quick photo to create a blockbuster movie!

The Great Ocean Road, with a total length of nearly 300 kilometers, is also one of the most beautiful roads in the world. The Twelve Apostles, a must-see in your lifetime, are even more dazzling with their golden rocks at dusk.
The view from a helicopter is even more stunning, but you really have to see this kind of scenery early, as two pieces have collapsed due to erosion by sea water and wind and waves.
The Great Ocean Road also has secret Easter eggs: the shipwreck story of Loch Ard Gorge + emerald waves, and the niche camera angle can capture the same vicissitudes of life as "Pirates of the Caribbean"!

Queensland is the only place in Australia where you can actually cuddle a koala! With its sunny beaches and charming seaside, it's the perfect vacation destination. (Currently, the only places in mainland China where you can see these adorable koalas are Nanjing Hongshan and Guangzhou Chimelong.)

The Gold Coast is a surfer's paradise and a haven for holidaymakers to unwind! Stretching out by the sea with yoga is a surefire way to unwind.
There are also various theme parks, such as Warner Bros. Movie World and the fantastic Sea World. You can experience the thrill of blockbuster movies in one day, and you can also enjoy the marine life show. You can't stop playing!

Don't miss the marvelous Great Barrier Reef! It's like diving into God's aquarium, and a helicopter cruise over Heart Reef is a dreamy place for a proposal.
The coral reefs, with their own pink filter, are incredibly romantic! Whether snorkeling or diving, it's a fantastic experience, and you can happily swim with sea turtles and clownfish!

The laughing kookaburra is one of the largest members of the kingfisher family. Its name comes from the fact that its call is super magical, sounding like a person laughing heartily. It also became the mascot of the Sydney Summer Olympics.

Sydney, often considered the capital of Australia, is located in this state. The Sydney Opera House is a must-see for you to take a photo.
But don't just focus on the front, there are more ways to take a photo! Mrs. Macaulay's Chair offers a stunning "sailboat and opera house" shot, and sunrise is the least crowded, making for even more stunning photos!
Head to Darling Harbour on Friday night to watch the spectacular fireworks, then head straight to the Sydney Fish Market for a feast. The lobsters and oysters are freshly caught and eaten, so fresh! And the value is fantastic! For under 500 yuan per person, you can enjoy a feast.

Blue Mountains National Park is like a Jurassic World hidden in the mist. At the Three Sisters Peak Observation Deck, take a cable car through the sea of clouds, which is super exciting.
April and May are autumn in Australia, and the Maple Valley is as beautiful as an overturned palette. Photography enthusiasts must check it out!
Here’s a little travel Easter egg to share: Diamond Bay, known as the most beautiful cliff in the Southern Hemisphere, was a place you could go down to take pictures before, but it’s now closed.

Kangaroo Island is like a wildlife park without fences. The two awe-inspiring sea erosion wonders, the Magic Rocks and the Admiralty Arch, will be coated with a layer of dreamy golden light at sunset.
The Australian sea lions lazily basking in the sun in Seal Bay are adorable. You might even encounter hopping kangaroos and cute koalas while strolling around the island.

The Flinders Ranges is one of the world's best stargazing destinations. Enjoy a starry night in the wilderness, free from light pollution, and see the Milky Way clearly! Journey through ancient canyons, discover Aboriginal rock art, and witness the wonders of eons of geological history.

Continuing north from Adelaide, you will reach the world's only underground city, Coober Pedy. I also experienced an underground hotel. The desolate, doomsday-style town is truly unforgettable.

Travel through billions of years and unlock the wildest heart of Australia.
Uluru is like the beating heart of the earth, changing its wonderful colors in the sunset, from warm ochre to mysterious violet, burning like fire.
Enjoy champagne and kangaroo meat under the desert stars at the "Sounds of Silence" dinner, accompanied by the melodious sounds of Aboriginal didgeridoo music. This experience is truly unique!

As Australia's northernmost adventure capital, the most exciting things here are the "crocodile boat jumping" and "death cage" experiences.
Witnessing a 5-meter-long giant crocodile leaping out of the water to grab food, or having "close contact" with these prehistoric creatures through the glass, will definitely give your adrenaline a rush!
When I experienced the "Death Cage" before, I signed a life and death agreement. The thrill was really shocking!

Purer than New Zealand, more magical than Iceland, Tasmania is truly the end of the world. Due to its geographical isolation, it has also preserved a large number of unique animals.
Come across white kangaroos, echidnas and kookaburras that live freely on the Pink Granite Coast.
The most pleasant option is to rent a sailboat and go out to sea. The freshly caught oysters paired with Tasmanian Pinot Noir are a perfect match for your taste buds!

In Freycinet National Park, the Tiffany Blue Bay of Wineglass Bay is like a sapphire left by God. The crescent-shaped bay is a breathtaking blue in the sun.

I was lucky enough to witness the rare visual feast of the Southern Lights when the aurora index soared to level 7!

The smiling kangaroo, with its chubby face and sweet smile, is a top star in southwestern Australia and has captured the hearts of many tourists.

The journey in Western Australia was also the longest self-driving trip I have ever experienced. In 35 days, from Perth to Broome, I almost traveled to every corner of Western Australia.
The pink lake here looks like an overturned strawberry milk waterfall, and it can be called a harvester of girls' hearts in the Southern Hemisphere.
From September to November, the stronger the sunlight, the more intense the pink. Wearing a pure white dress and framing the pink lake together will make the photos perfect. Walking on the salt flats, you will feel like you are walking on the surface of Mars.

In Kalbarri National Park, Earth's growth rings unfold, and the red rocks of Nature's Window frame the Indian Ocean sunset. A casual photo would make it onto the cover of National Geographic! Far from light pollution, the Milky Way is so clear you can even see the outline of the Southern Cross.

Western Australia's Twelve Apostles
Traveling in Australia is a fantastic adventure that awakens your wild nature.
Here, you will encounter the most unique creatures on earth - lazy koalas napping among the eucalyptus trees, kangaroos jumping freely in the sunset, and platypuses swimming mysteriously in the streams.
From the sunrise at Uluru to the roaring waves of the Twelve Apostles, from the splendor of the Great Barrier Reef to the purity of Tasmania, every landscape tells the story of the magnificence of nature and the miracle of life.
Meet magical animals, talk to wild nature, and start an unforgettable wonderful journey with Xiaoxia!
