Some sections require both hands and feet, making this a truly captivating walk. We'll have a picnic on the mountain for lunch (bring your own food!). After lunch, we'll descend along the ridge, passing terraced fields and pine forests along the way. The entire journey takes approximately eight hours, returning to our starting point in the afternoon.

3rd Tianlongchuan → Meiganling → Jiapeng → Shanghai

All day

After breakfast at 8:30 in the morning we will drive to Jiapeng, passing by Jackal Wolf Peak. We will get off the bus to check in, look at the General Stone from a distance, take photos, and then get on the bus to the Meiganling Viewing Platform, take a light hike, and take a look at the Meiganling Terraces along the way.

We'll arrive at the hike's starting point at 9:30 AM. We'll first stop at the Meiganling Observation Deck to admire the magnificent views of the terraced rice fields, set against the backdrop of towering mountains. We'll then descend into the rice terraces, taking in the breathtaking scenery with each step. We'll then follow the water to Jiapeng Water Street, where a stream weaves through the village. Walking along the quaint bluestone streets, the ancient charm of Huizhou is evident throughout. The village boasts two ancient memorial archways (Tingquan Tower and Xu's Ancestral Hall), hailed as "themed textbooks of ancient Chinese dwellings and villages."

Afterwards, we went down to Kantou Village, which is built on the hillside and beside the water. The Yunchuan River, which originates from the southern mountainous area, runs through the village. This river is the "Water Street" of Kantou Village. We enjoyed lunch in the village and then got on the bus to return.

It is expected to arrive at the departure point in Shanghai at 19:00. Everyone is reluctant to leave and kisses goodbye with tears in their eyes!

1.Why didn’t I receive a text message notification after registering?

2. What if it rains during the event?

2-3 days before the event, we will decide whether the event will proceed as scheduled based on the weather forecast and route conditions. Please pay attention to our notifications. Most activities can proceed as usual even if there is light rain. There is still fun to be had on rainy days. If heavy rain is forecast, the event will be cancelled and a full refund will be given to everyone.

3. Is this route crowded?

Most of our routes are natural and niche, with relatively small traffic. Of course, it also depends on the registration situation for each period. Generally, ordinary models are 37-seat buses, and a few large models are 53-seat. Each car has a certain proportion of tour leaders to ensure the quality of the event.

Longxu Mountain, located 10 kilometers east of Jixi County, lies on the east bank of the Dengyuan River, connected to Qigu Mountain to the east. It boasts twin peaks. A Ming Dynasty poem by Chen Zhang evokes the idea: "The large and small peaks are as sharp as slicing iron, their summits touching the sky even more wondrously. Where can the Taoist soar through the clouds? He ascends to the summit to gaze upon the dragon's lair." The main peak, Longfeng, rises 1,048.6 meters above sea level, boasts a Dragon Pond, which never dries up. The secondary peak, Baisha Peak, boasts Longtai Rock, a stone gate, stone steps, and a cascading waterfall. The western slopes of the mountain were once home to Longfeng Zen Temple and Guqiao'an, now destroyed. Longfeng Zen Temple is said to have been the place where Hu Zongxian studied during the Ming Dynasty. The mountain boasts dragon beard grass, which makes fine paper known as "dragon beard paper." Li Zhen, the last emperor of the Southern Tang Dynasty, cherished it so much that he stored it in his "Chengxin Hall." As a result, Longxu paper became renowned throughout the country, commanding a price significantly higher than that of ordinary paper in Bashu. The mountain derives its name from the grass. With its many unusual peaks and rocks, lush vegetation, waterfalls, and vibrant seas of clouds, Longxu Mountain is one of the region's most famous mountains.
