Led by the staff, the team members introduced themselves to each other, interacted as a group, laughed and talked all the way, and unknowingly approached their destination.

Note: Unlike the meeting point for those heading south to Zhejiang, this activity will first meet at the elevated road under the urban toll station, and then board the bus at the intersection of Jintang Street and Zongguantang Road.

09:30

We arrived at the Gujiangkou Reservoir. In the morning light, we climbed up the towering embankment and looked into the distance. The clear blue sky and the beautiful mountains and waters were in full view!

Then we started hiking to Jiulianjian, which has a total of 9 peaks. Although there are many peaks, the highest peaks are about 400 meters above sea level, so it is not difficult.

From the summit, you can overlook Baohua Mountain. With its expansive views, standing atop the mountain feels like melting into the surrounding mountains. The breathtaking scenery is breathtaking! Alpine meadows are primarily found in the northeastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and northern Sichuan. From Jiulianjian in Suzhou, you can see these alpine meadows—a must-see! The endless expanse is reminiscent of the Wugong Mountains in East China. At the summit, you can see vast expanses of cooled lava from the eruption, and the ruins of ancient copper mines from the Spring and Autumn Period are also visible.

At noon, we will share the various lunches brought by everyone at the top of the mountain, overlooking the mountains and enjoying the comfort!

4:00 PM

We arrived at the destination. The bus was already waiting there. We boarded and headed back to Suzhou.

We arrived back in Suzhou around 7:30 PM. Everyone was still reluctant to leave and said goodbye with tears in their eyes!!!

Driving time: about 2.5 hours

Hiking: The whole journey is about 8km, with a total ascent of 400m. It is expected to take about 4 hours. It is mainly on dirt roads in the mountains and forests, and the intensity is moderate.

Jiuhua Mountain in Jurong: Locals call it Jiulian Mountain, and some people call it Jiulianjian. This mountain is located between Baohua Mountain in Jurong and Tangshan in Jiangning. It has a total of 9 peaks, and the highest peak is about 400 meters above sea level. Due to the wide view around this mountain and the undulating mountains, it has the artistic conception of Wugong Mountain.
