This journey has left behind sweat and memories. Even when we look back on this trip many years later, it will still be vivid in our minds. Our gains have long been imprinted in our lives.

Sleep until you wake up naturally this morning and arrange your return trip according to your own plan, or continue exploring the unfinished journey in Yinchuan.

Tourists who are still reluctant to leave and bid farewell with tears, please remember to fill out a follow-up review on the "China-TravelNote APP" to win vouchers. You can also post travel notes or works of art on the "China-TravelNote Community" & "China-TravelNote Photography Network" to share the wonderful memories of your trip!

Kind tips:

Team members who want to stay longer can book hotels with China-TravelNote. Tourists who need to fly back on the same day can go to the airport by themselves.

  1. Meals included in the itinerary include breakfast and dinner, which are group meals and are non-refundable if not used. Main meals are served according to the product meal standards.

  2. The hiking route is quite long, so you can bring your own snacks and functional drinks to replenish them along the way. The Northwest mainly serves spicy food, beef and mutton. If you have any dietary restrictions, please inform the tour leader immediately.

  3. The desert camp does not provide charging or showering services. Water for washing is from the camp's well. Because the camp is located in the heart of the desert, the signal may be weak during the hike (depending on the operator).

  4. Please bring all necessary documents (passport, ID card, children's household registration book, etc.), take good care of your luggage, and bring travel necessities such as umbrellas, sunglasses, and sunscreen;

  5. The customs and habits in Northwest China are quite different. Please pay attention to the relevant tourist tips when visiting. Do not mention political issues related to ethnic minorities under any circumstances. Cooperate with the tour leader.

  6. The temperature difference between day and night in the desert is large, so you need to prepare plenty of clothes and sunscreen. Most of the scenic spots we visited are in pristine environments, so we remind you to pay attention to environmental protection and not throw away non-degradable garbage to protect the desert ecology.

  7. Hotels: Some hotels require a lot of personal items, such as bath bags, razors, and towels. These items are tucked away and often have high prices, so please be mindful. If you've just dyed your hair, it's recommended to bring a towel to prevent staining hotel items.

Yinchuan: Yinchuan is an ancient city on the Great Wall with a long history. It was the capital of the Western Xia Dynasty in history and a national historical and cultural city. It is also called "Phoenix City" in folk legends. It was called "Xingqing Prefecture" and "Ningxia City" in ancient times. It is known as "Jiangnan on the Great Wall and the Land of Fish and Rice". To the west of the city is the famous scenic spot, the Western Xia Royal Tombs.

Tengger Desert: The Mongolians revere "Cang Tian" as an eternal deity, hence the name "Changsheng Tian." The Tengger Desert, located in western Inner Mongolia and central Gansu Province, stretches from the Helan Mountains and the Nanyue Great Wall in the east to the Yabrai Mountains in the west. It is China's fourth-largest desert. "Tengger" means "sky" in Mongolian, describing the desert as "as vast and boundless as the sky." The desert lies at an altitude of 1,200 to 1,400 meters, covering a total area of 36,700 square kilometers. Sand dunes, lake basins, mountains, and plains intersect throughout the desert, with sand dunes comprising over 70% of the area. These dunes are mostly crescent-shaped chains, 10 to 30 meters high, with some reaching as high as 10 to 100 meters. These dunes typically migrate southeastward. The desert is dotted with over 400 lakes of various sizes, most of which are freshwater, surrounded by abundant water and grass, making it the primary pastureland for the region.
