The first day is a full-day gathering day. Tourists will go to the meeting hotel according to their arrival time in Yichang and check in at the front desk of the meeting hotel by writing "China-Travel Note + Name".

If you arrive early, you can explore Yichang city on your own.
You can go to Binjiang Park or Yiling Yangtze River Bridge to enjoy the scenery of the Yangtze River. Friends who are interested in history and culture can visit the Yichang Museum (free reservations can be made in advance by mobile phone). Zhenjiang Pavilion across the river is a good place to enjoy the night view of the city.
Yichang’s night market stalls are also very famous, including Taozhu Road Night Market, Beimen Night Market, etc. You can enjoy the food to your heart’s content, but please pay attention to hygiene.
Day 2 Yichang → Water Highway → Shennongtan → Guanmen Mountain → Tianyan Scenic Area → Hongping Town

After breakfast, we'll depart Yichang. Along the way, we'll pass a distinctive waterway, where we'll take some time to take photos. This road bears a rather poetic name: the Ancient Zhao Highway. "Zhaojun Village, hometown of the beauty; ripples on the water surface, a long dragon lies." The entire highway, built along a canyon stream, resembles a jade belt or a wandering dragon, winding along the Xiangxi River. We'll stop here for some photos.
Afterwards, we will go to Shennongtan. Shennongjia got its name because Shennong, one of the ancestors of the Chinese nation, built a wooden ladder here to collect herbs and save the people.
Here we photographed the statue of Shennong with an ox-headed human body and the thousand-year-old cedar king. Shennong stood among the lush green mountains, with the earth as his body, his eyes slightly closed, as if pondering the mysteries of the universe.

In the afternoon, we went to Tianyan Scenic Area and stopped to take photos along National Highway 308. Shennongjia has the only well-preserved subtropical forest ecosystem in the mid-latitude inland area of the Northern Hemisphere in the world. It was a refuge for animals and plants during the Quaternary Ice Age, with a forest coverage rate of up to 88%.
Shennongjia is even more colorful in autumn. The color-changing maple trees, tulip trees, liana trees, crabapples, walnuts and chestnut trees are mixed in with the evergreen vegetation, just like an oil painter accidentally knocked over a paint can. Various colors flow all the way along the mountain ridge, fiery red, dazzling golden yellow, lush emerald green, bright azure blue, painted layer by layer... We took a circular route and headed to Yanziya in Tianyan to take pictures, and take pictures of the sunset at the right time.
After sunset, proceed to Hongping Town to check in.
Day 3 Hongping Town → Shennongding → Pingqian Ancient Town

After breakfast, depart for Shennongding Scenic Area
After changing to the scenic shuttle bus, we first went to photograph the wild golden monkeys, which are elves that regular tourists in Shennongjia cannot see.
Golden snub-nosed monkeys are a rare and endangered species under Class I national protection. Our filming location is a scientific research facility, so to avoid startling the monkeys, we kept a distance while filming and then walked into the woods to search for the group.
There are about 80 golden monkeys in Dalongtan. We will take close-up photos of them. They are playing in the woods or tumbling among the branches as if no one is around. They are lively and playful, with different expressions and no guard or precautions at all. Let's kill them with the shutter!
I believe everyone will be very excited when they see them. Please strictly abide by the regulations of the base, speak softly, do not get too close to avoid being accidentally injured by the golden monkeys, and do not feed the golden monkeys anything.
We left the golden monkey research base around noon.

After lunch, we continued to shoot in the Shennongding Scenic Area. The vast alpine meadows, red leaves, sea of clouds, forests, stone forests, and ancient trees freely displayed the primitive beauty of the wilderness, like a paradise on earth.
There are many photo spots in Shennongding, including the karst canyon landscape of Shennong Valley, the alpine meadows, arrow bamboo forests and Banbi Rock with random rocks, the primeval forest Jinhouling and the highest point of the Shennongjia forest area, the watchtower, etc.
Then proceed to Pingqian Ancient Town for accommodation.
Warm reminder: The visit to Shennongding Scenic Area is greatly affected by the weather. The tour leader will adjust the tour order according to the weather on that day.
Day 4 Pingqian Ancient Town → Dajiu Lake → Pingqian Ancient Town

Today we will photograph the morning mist and sunrise at Dajiu Lake, which is known as the "high mountain plain" (warm reminder: it depends on the weather conditions).
Known as the "Hulunbuir of Central China," Dajiu Lake is a magical alpine meadow hidden among thousands of hills and valleys. Surrounded by high mountains, the highest peak reaching 2,800 meters, it forms a natural barrier.
We will depart at around 6:00 AM for the No. 5 Lake of Dajiu Lake to photograph the morning mist. Please follow the tour leader's instructions and have breakfast before heading out.

Afterwards, walk along the trail to explore the unique characteristics of the nine lakes. The scenic area has named the nine lakes in the order of "Heaven, Earth, and Man": Tianlai Lake, Tianwen Lake, Tianyu Lake; Diyuan Lake, Dimai Lake, Dishen Lake; Renhe Lake, Rendao Lake, and Renshou Lake.
Nine streams flowing down the mountain ridges resemble nine jade belts dancing from the mist, forming these nine shimmering lakes, waiting for your camera to explore their beauty. With the arrival of autumn, the scenery reveals a different world, and we moved from place to place, taking photos as we went.
We returned to the hotel around 11 o'clock and took a short lunch break.

In the afternoon, we went to the Deer Park to take photos, where there are beautiful sika deer.
Go find a sunset shooting spot at the right time and take a group of photos of the sunset reflected by Dajiu Lake, which is as beautiful as a fairyland.
If the weather is not satisfactory, taking pictures of the misty Dajiu Lake is also a unique experience, restoring the beautiful impression of "the sky is blue and waiting for the rain".
Dajiu Lake is a kind of pristine beauty. Covered by light clouds and mist, sika deer bask in the sunshine, and it is as peaceful as a paradise.
Return to Pingqian Ancient Town in due time
Day 5 Pingqian Ancient Town → Dajiu Lake → Wuxiakou

In the morning we entered Dajiu Lake for the second time and admired the beautiful morning mist.

After lunch, we took a bus to Shennong Creek to photograph the cultural integration of Shennong, the Three Gorges and Shennong.
Shennongxi is the hometown of the Ba people, where the unique Ba culture was born. We came here this time to shoot the cultural fossil on Shennongxi: the boatman culture
Stay at Wuxiakou Hotel at night. If the weather is good, you can take pictures of the starry sky.

Day 6 Wuxiakou → Yichang
All day
Today we have to get up early to take pictures of the sea of clouds at the mouth of Wuxia.
This is the filming location for the fifth edition of the RMB, where the beautiful scenery of the Wu Gorge Estuary was filmed. It guards the entrance to the Wu Gorge of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. We overlooked the magnificent scenery of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, walked across the glass skybridge, and looked out at the Wu Gorge from the 360-degree glass observation deck. It is the first 90-degree right-angle turn on the Yangtze River and is known as the "First Turn of the Yangtze River". From the observation deck, we can see the mountains and rivers, feel the magnificence and vastness, and taste the tranquility.
Tips: The sea of clouds is subject to weather conditions
After lunch, we took a short break and finished the shoot around 9:30 before returning to Yichang.
Arrive at Yichang East Station around 13:30. Tourists taking the train are recommended to book a train after 14:30.
Arrive at Yichang Three Gorges Airport around 14:30. Tourists taking a plane are recommended to book flights after 16:00 in the afternoon.
