We got on the bus on time and set off. During the journey, under the leadership of the team leader, the team members introduced themselves to each other, interacted as a group, laughed and talked, and before we knew it, we were approaching our destination.

10:00

Arriving at the starting point, we warmed up diligently under the guidance of our team leader. Afterward, we ascended the steps and, a few minutes later, entered a thorn forest. From there, we began our challenging journey.
We weaved through the jungle, hopped over ridges, and scaled rock faces. We gazed into the distance from the ridges and posed for poses on boulders. The mountains were filled with the unbridled passion of tourists.

We had lunch at the right time and continued on our way forward, unknowingly climbing over many hills.

Gaoli Mountain, at 425.7 meters above sea level, is the third highest peak in Zhenjiang. Composed primarily of shale, sandstone, and limestone, the mountain boasts a rounded ridge, with cliffs forming the top. Shrubs abound, with some cultivated pine and fir trees. At its base lies the Lunshan Reservoir. Gaoli Mountain stretches approximately 4.5 kilometers, starting in Dongjiazhuang, Weigang Town, in the northeast and ending in Xiaomao Mountain, near the Lunshan Reservoir, in the southwest. Due to the dense shrubs that made the mountain inaccessible, hikers, through years of clearing and trampling, have reclaimed the mountain, making it a popular destination for hikers in Ningzhen. It can be said that Gaoli Mountain is a beautiful world created by hikers, earning it a resounding reputation among the surrounding hikers.
